Uni changes name to Pure Swansea
Genero Adran South club Swansea University FC has officially rebranded as Pure Swansea FC ahead of the 2025-
The name change, approved by the FAW National Leagues Board in late June, takes effect immediately and signals ambitious plans for the future.
Jack Midwinter, Pure Swansea FC’s Head of Football, described the rebrand as a transformative step forward. “This isn’t just a change of name – it’s the start of a bold new venture that allows us to build on the club’s already rich history, while embracing the ambition and infrastructure needed to take us to the next level,” Midwinter told the Genero Adran Leagues website. “Swansea University FC has always been a club built on identity, unity, and development – values that will remain firmly at the heart of Pure Swansea FC.”
