Stotfold had a strong season in Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire Division One, going on a very long unbeaten run right up until 19th March, a total of 16 games.

Stotfold are managed by Tom Olney, with Rebecca Lightfoot as his assistant. Amy Jack captains the team on the pitch, whilst Millie Fraser topped the scoring charts with 28 goals to her name and goalkeeper Orlagh Daly kept an impressive eight clean sheets in 21 games.

“We matched up well against teams from higher divisions in a successful league cup run making it to the semi final and drawing 3-3 with Harpenden, to eventually bow out on penalties,” manager Tom Olney told Women’s Soccer Scene.

“There were some high scoring games also, with two double figure wins at 12-0 and 14-0. An achievement that will much harder to replicate in the Premier Division next season, but we are hungry for the challenge!”
