Louise McDaniel produced the individual performance of the evening with a superb hat-trick, as Cliftonville headlined a full house of home victories across the Sports Direct Women's Premiership.
At the Brandywell, the Reds turned in a polished display to sweep past Derry City 4-0. The breakthrough arrived inside the opening eight minutes when Shania McMonagle inadvertently turned McDaniel's dangerous delivery into her own net. McDaniel then seized control of the contest, doubling the advantage on 16 minutes after pouncing on a wayward pass, before adding her second just ten minutes later. She completed her treble with ten minutes remaining, lashing home from distance to cap a magnificent individual contribution.
Glentoran enjoyed a similarly straightforward evening on the road, easing past Lisburn Ladies 4-0 at the Bluebell Stadium. Nadene Caldwell broke the deadlock just before the half hour mark and Demi Vance doubled the lead five minutes before the interval. Naomi McLaughlin extended the advantage within a minute of the restart, before Emily Wilson put the seal on a comfortable victory on 59 minutes.
There was no shortage of drama at Crewe Park, where Lisburn Rangers overturned an early deficit to secure a thrilling 5-2 triumph over Linfield Women. Sophie McKnight had given the visitors an early lead, but Maeve McConaghy restored parity within nine minutes. Rangers then seized command, with Abbie Smyth edging them ahead before Caoimhe Gelston Mulholland and Smyth again struck in a devastating five-minute spell to establish a 4-1 interval lead. Tierna Bell added a fifth six minutes after the restart, with Mirjana Karrabecaj pulling one back for Linfield on the hour, but the hosts were unable to mount a serious comeback.
Crusaders Strikers, meanwhile, produced a dominant second half showing to see off Larne Women 3-0 at Seaview. After a goalless opening period, Jessica Rea broke the deadlock four minutes into the second half, before Darcie McNeill and Mia Reilly struck in rapid succession to complete an emphatic victory and round off a night of convincing wins for the home sides.
