Scotland to play Switzerland at Dunfermline

Scotland Women’s National Team are back on the road in the October international window as Melissa Andreatta’s side

take on UEFA Women’s European Championship hosts, Switzerland at the home of Dunfermline Athletic.

The match will take place on Tuesday 28 October and will follow an away game in Morocco on Friday 24 October. SWNT are set to kick off the October camp with a trip to Casablanca to take on the African Cup of Nations runners-up.

The international friendly matches come ahead of the final window of the year in November, which will round off 2025 ahead of crucial FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers which kick off in February 2026.

It follows the 2025 UEFA Nations League campaign earlier this year which ended positively with a hard fought draw away to the Netherlands.

The match in Dunfermline also marks the first game in dark blue for the city’s own Caroline Weir following her Ballon D’Or nomination. The midfielder has become the first ever Scottish women’s player to be nominated for the accolade.
