Glasgow City preserved their position at the summit of the SWPL with a resounding 7-0 victory over basement side Hamilton Academical.
The hosts were already 2-0 ahead by half time, courtesy of a third minute penalty from Lisa Forrest and her second goal on the quarter hour. Louisa Boyes extended the lead on 71 minutes before Forrest completed a remarkable hat-trick in just ten minutes to make it 6-0. Abi Harrison added a seventh in stoppage time as City underlined their dominance over an Accies side which remains rooted to the bottom without a point to their name.
Hearts kept up the pressure on leaders Glasgow City with a comfortable 3-0 win away to Motherwell at K Park – inflicting a first defeat on new Motherwell manager Iain Robinson. In-form striker Georgia Timms opened the scoring after 13 minutes, heading in Lauren Wade's inviting cross.The visitors doubled their advantage when Sade Adamolekun's teasing delivery was diverted into her own net by Motherwell defender Lily Boyce.
Jenna Slattery sealed the points with a fierce drive into the bottom corner after the hosts failed to clear their lines. Hearts still trail City by four points, while Motherwell sit seventh.
Rangers also secured a 3-0 victory over Partick Thistle at Broadwood to stay seven points behind the leaders. Katie Wilkinson put Rangers ahead after only two minutes, with Quinty Sabajo doubling the lead shortly afterwards on six minutes. The visitors resisted until the 79th minute, when Laura Berry added a third to confirm the win for Leanne Crichton's side.
Rangers remain third, level on points with Celtic who maintained their challenge for the title with a straightforward 4-0 victory over Aberdeen. Saoirse Noonan struck twice in the first half – after just two minutes and again on 20 minutes – sandwiching Emma Lawton's effort to make it 3-0.
Amy Gallacher completed the scoring in the second half, converting Noonan's assist. Like Rangers, Celtic are seven points off the pace set by City, while Aberdeen suffered a fifth consecutive defeat to remain second bottom.
Champions Hibernian's hopes of mounting a serious title challenge took a hit as they were held to a 1-1 draw away to Montrose. Grant Scott's side went ahead through Scarlett Herron, who converted Ellis Notley's free kick. However, Montrose levelled just five minutes later when Georgia Carter pounced on a poorly cleared corner to fire home.
The draw leaves Hibs ten points adrift of Glasgow City after 13 matches, whilst Montrose hold sixth place, three points clear of Motherwell.

Kilmarnock hold on to their huge lead of ten points, thanks to a 6-1 victory over East Fife. Teri Skivington did give East Fife a fifth minute lead but Abby Robinson, Skye Stout and Cara Gray all scored as Killie hit back to lead at half time. After the break, Rachel Osborne further increased their lead, before substitute Kaitlyn Canavan struck twice late on. Boroughmuir Thistle remain in second by virtue of more goals scored, following their 6-0 victory at Livingston. Ami Robertson led the scoring with a hat-trick, Holly Aitchison weighed in with a brace and Ava Whitson was also on target. Spartans scored seven times without reply past Stirling University but it was not quite enough to take them into second place. Izzy Young spearheaded the win with a four-goal haul and she was joined on the scoresheet by Sarah Clelland, Ava Crawford and Eilidh Davies. Meanwhile, new Queen’s Park manager Ross Stormonth got off to a great start in charge as his side defeated St Johnstone 5-0. Rosie McQuillan was on target twice for the Spiders, along with Morgan Hay, Abby Callaghan and Summer Thomson. Dundee Utd completed a good day for the top half teams by beating Gartcairn Women 3-0 thanks to a Danni Findlay double and Rachel Todd.
