The Regional Leagues
East Midlands League
The two teams at the top of the Premier Division met each other and it was Mansfield Town who emerged as 1-0 winners over Lincoln Women. Katie Platts scored the only goal of the game on the half hour, to open up a lead of three points for her side. Lincoln remain in second, ahead of three teams including Doncaster Rovers Belles and Loughborough Foxes Vixens, who battled out a 1-1 draw. Newport Pagnell Town are the other team on five points, Rachael Mumford, Alex Bartlett and Chloe Martin netting their goals as they drew 3-3 with Nottingham Trent University, for whom Hannah Smoot (2) and Darcy Bancroft were on target. The spoils were shared in the other game, Bryony Fox and Poppy Gibson were on target for Stamford AFC Women in their 2-2 draw against Grimsby Town Academy, whose markswomen were Brooke Howe and Beth Wharton.
Belper Town continued their unbeaten start in Division One North and they head the table by three ponts following their 5-3 win away to Dronfield Town, Alice Faulding hitting a hat-trick along with Evie Jowett and Hannah James. YP Womens move into second, Maisie Everitt also bagging a hat-trick as they won 7-1 at Newark Town. Talia Brammah weighed in with a brace and there was one each from Charlotte Bennehan and Libby Shaw. Notts County Development meanwhile notched up their first victory, 3-2 against Hucknall Town.
Division One Central leaders University of Nottingham were held to a 3-3 draw by Long Eaton Utd. Aimee Blakemore, Ede Buchele and Ava Bullas were on target for the students, with Long Eaton netting through Rosa Fisher, Emma Scoffham and Mathilda Leak. Monique Price bagged a four-goal haul and Hannah Green the other as Asfordby Amateurs won 5-1 at Melbourne Dynamo to go one point off the pace in second, along with Basford Utd who beat Pride Park Women with goals from Jade Eaglefield (2), Olivia Wheatcroft (2), Millie Edwards and Charlotte Duthie-Thompson. Charlotte Sims, Rejoice Amieghemen and Abbie Blackery accounted for the goals as Sherwood FC Women won 3-1 away to Coalville Town Ravens whilst Marriam Rawel netted for Thurmaston DPC in their 1-1 draw against Oakham Utd, who replied through Zina Cheikh.
Leicester City Ladies made it three wins out of three at the top of Division One South when beating Dunton & Broughton Utd 5-2. Rosie Fowler (2), Alice Timms, Lucy Garner and Holly Moore scored the goals to take their team five points clear at the top. Wellingborough Town are in second place after Shaquana Bailey and Lekeisha Tinsdeall gave them a 2-1 victory over Northampton Town Development whilst Spalding Utd won for the first time, 5-1 against Starground Cardea Sports courtesy of Codie Steward (2), Antonina Such (2) and Nicola Krajewska.
Eastern Region League
The Second Round of the League Cup took centre stage on Sunday and Stevenage Women Res were the only Division One side to claim a Premier Division scalp when Poppy Clarry, Sophie Birkett,.Georgie Oliver and Freya Mahendran gave them a 4-1 victory over St Albans City. AFC Sudbury safely negotiated a tricky trip to Division One South leaders Chelmsford CIty with a 1-0 win, Stacey Roper scoring the only goal. Royston Town defeated Enfield Town 2-1 thanks to Anneliese Georgiou and Dilly Haslehurst whilst Atletico London were 4-0 victors at Dunstable, Iesha Swaby netting twice alongside Isla Callison and Brooke Haylock. Olivia Harris (2), Evie Clarke and Ruby Kilden accounted for the goals as Bowers & Pitsea beat Real Bedford Development 4-2 and Watford Development needed extra time before finally getting past Hitchin Belles with a 5-3 victory, goals coming from Rebecca Lovelace, Isla Bellamy, Katie White, Jada-Chey'ah Graham and Catherine Reeves. Rebecca Stephenson and Hannah Fuller each netted twice along with Holly Farrow and Maddie Green as Wroxham ran out 6-0 winners at Hutton and Histon returned from Southend Utd with a 3-0 success under their belts, courtesy of Charlotte Freestone, Ella Marden and Evie Nicholls. Sophie Amanor hit a hat-trick, with Lilly Kelly, Chloe Farrell and Jordan Rockall also on the scoresheet, as Harpenden Town defeated Leyton Orient 6-0 and Haringey Borough went one better with a seven-goal blast against Ampthill Town, Nia Garwood bagging a four-goal and singles from Renea Jarrett, Mia Obeng and Eloise Cattini.
One tie went all the way to penalties, Cambridge City winning 4-3 from the spot after battling out a 1-1 draw with Wormley Rovers, Zoe Demetriou and Jessica Ronan-Cooper scoring respectively. Hertford Town triumphed 2-1 atfer extra time at Colchester Utd thanks to Ellissa Morris and Isabelle May and Costessey Sports defeated Luton Town Development 3-1 with strikes from Alisha Juby, Hannah Campbell and Alyssia Baldock. Tilly Hawes (2), Sarah Akinte (2), Georgia Fraser and Jazmin Whitehead-Shakes were the markswomen for Toby FC Women as they booked their place in the next round with a 6-2 victory over Newmarket Town.
London & South East League
It was a good day on Sunday for leaders Brentford, who are two points ahead after scoring eight times without reply past Newhaven at the Gtech Community Stadium. Ashley Cheatley led the scoring with a four-goal haul, Wiktoria Kiszkis weighed in with a brace and there was one apiece from Millie Constantine and Makeba Black. The Bees' two nearest rivals in the table met each with Barking and second placed Bromley sharing a 2-2 draw. Grace Hall bagged a brace for Barking whilst Bromley netted through Morgan Searle and Emily Vaughan. No less than six different teams are on seven points in the table, including Millwall Lionesses who went level on points with Sutton Utd after beating them 3-2 with Ella Rutherford, Sophie Chapman and Ciara Watling on target. Worthing meanwhile edged out Hammersmith 2-1 thanks to Jessica Richardson and an own goal. Ashford Town (Middlesex) ran out 5-2 winners over Aylesford courtesy of Charlotte Close, Laura Huse, Ruby Maide and Amelia Halawi, meanwhile Dorking Wanderers picked up their first win of the season, 2-1 at Eastbourne Borough with Amber Watson and Adien Oliva on the scoresheet.
Dulwich Hamlet Res preserved their lead of four points at the top of Division One North with a 2-1 victory against AFC Greenwich Borough. All of the three immediate chasing teams recorded victories, now headed by Maidstone Utd who scored nine times past Sport London e Benfica. Katelyn Madeiros and Megan Wood each netted doubles for the Stones along with Jasmine Etheridge, Holly Theobald, Millie Waud, Aimee Ascott and Ellie Hinkley. Maria Vera (2), Kelly Faye, Virginia Somers and Hannah Goffi accounted for the goals as Camden Town defeated Actonians Res 5-1 and Tooting Bec edged out previously unbeaten Herne Bay 1-0, courtesy of a solitary goal from Hannah Curwen. Abigail Igbavboa was on target twice for Carshalton Athletic in their 5-2 victory over Ebbsfleet Utd, with Georgie Edwards, Morgan Parnell and Lucia Ammirata joining her on the scoresheet, meanwhile Clapton Community ran out 4-1 winners away to Hackney thanks to doubles from Maria Mendonca and Emily Link.
Saltdean Utd Development continue to set the early pace in Division One South, Amy White netting twice and Phoebe Michie the other in their 3-0 victory at Ashmount Leigh, who are now three points behind Saltdean in second place. Tonbridge Angels entered the top four when they defeated Montpelier Villa 3-1 with strikes from Maisie Frankum (2) and Aimee Churchill. Sofia Newton, Hannah Styles and Maya Kacary accounted for the goals as Sevenoaks Town won 3-1 against Steyning Town Community and Hastings Utd registered their first point, Danielle Parfitt netting both goals as they drew 2-2 with Three Bridges, who netted through Grace-Anne Bates and Zoe Case.
North East League
Sienna Small netted twice and Natalie Clarke the other as Birtley Town stay two points ahead at the top of the Premier Division following their 3-2 win against Spennymoor Town. Second placed Rotherham Utd meanwhile won 4-1 at Ossett Utd thanks to Eden Hinchliffe, Laura Bartup, Jasmine Saxton and Philippa Cassidy. Victoria Fuentes (2), Steph Reyes and Indiana Sinnamon were the markswomen for i2i International Soccer Academy in their 4-1 victory over
Wallsend Boys Club and this keeps them in third place, narrowly ahead of Leeds Modernians who beat Ponteland Utd 3-0 with goals from Emily Driscoll, Mia Moorhouse and Heather Smith. Izzy Rundle, Olivia Woolston and Caitlin Kell were all on target for Harrogate Town as they won for the first time, 3-1 against South Shields.
No change at the top of the Northern Division where the top two continued their good starts to the campaign. Park View hold on to the leadership on goal difference, they won 3-2 against Stockton Town with goals from Christina Aniamai (2) and Grace Dobson, to stay just ahead of Norton & Stockton Ancients Res who edged out Redcar Town by the odd goal in seven, thanks to Robyn Wrigley, Shannon Reed, Neve Pawlett and Kerry Heslop. There is now a six point gap to third placed Gateshead Rutherford Ladies who were beaten 4-1 by Boldon, who move level on points with them after a Katie Scammell double, Megan Gibson and Emma Cook. Zara Johnson netted the only goal of the game for Sunderland West End in their 1-0 win over Hartlepool Utd. A remarkable game saw Scarlett Smith hit a hat-trick and Eve Mullen a brace, with Neve Dean also scoring for Gateshead Leam Rangers but they still did not win, sharing a 6-6 draw with North Shields Athletic, for whom Erin Donachie netted four times and Gracie Chambers a further two. Darlington FC Women meanwhile won 5-3 away to Washington FC Women, Harriet Raine on target twice along with Ella Leach, Lily Wilkinson and Chloe Parkinson-Bright.
A second half equaliser from Chelsea Morton earned Southern Division leaders Thackley a 1-1 draw against Altofts Ladies, who had led through a Jasmin Cooper goal. Thackley had the table by three points from York City Development, who moved into second by beating Lower Hopton 6-0, Grace Slack scoring a hat-trick and Sasha Dann adding another, along with two own goals. Lauren Breen hit a hat-trick and Amy O'Brien was also on target for Rossington Main as they beat FC Farsley Women 4-2 and sit in third, just ahead of Knaresborough Town, 5-2 winners over Ilkley Town with a Jennifer Pavlou hat-trick, Eva Jenkins and Sarah Parkes. Evolution Ladies are also on six points, they defeated Sheffield Wednesday 4-1. Bottesford Town won for the first time, 1-0 at Cleethorpes Town with a late goal from Lauren Wentworth.
North West League
League leaders Bolton Wanderers were on League Cup duty on Sunday but their position at the top was actually strengthened as second placed Mancunian Unity were beaten 3-1 by FC St Helens. Olivia Hussey, Millie Critchley and Sarah Mitchell scored the goals to give St Helens their first win of the season and previously unbeaten Unity remain five points off the pace. Freya Smith and Ellie Cook scored the goals as third placed Bury FC Women won 2-0 at Poulton Vics, they stay just ahead of Nantwich Town, 1-0 victors over Preston North End thanks to Megan Andrews, and Darwen FC Women who also won 1-0 against Tranmere Rovers with a goal from Kyra Lindsay. Lola Taylor netted both goals for Crewe Alexandra as they battled out a 2-2 draw with FC United of Manchester, whose markswomen were Regan Lord and Elle Turner.
Accrington Stanley hold on to the leadership of Division One North after running out 6-1 winners over Penrith AFC Ladies. Amy Rusyn (2), Michelle Ryan, Sanah Mehdi, Katherine Taylor and Summer West scored the goals which mean that Stanley stay as leaders on goal difference from Workington Town, who were 3-1 victors at Haslingden thanks to Holly Redmond, Ella O'Nions and Beatrix Barber. Wigan Athletic netted eight times without reply past Bolton Wanderers Res and are still a single point off the pace, Amy Hughes was on target twice along with Avilla Bergin, Jessica Cooke, Faye McCoy, Emily FIrman, Sophie Whelan and Avagrace Hodson. At the other end of the table, Blackburn Community SC won for the first time, beating Blackpool 7-2 with Hayley Wilford on target five times, Hannah Snape adding the other two.
Division One Central leaders Rochdale made it five wins out of five when defeating Altrincham 2-1. Both teams went into the match with 100% records and it was Dale who triumphed with goals from Eleanor Seals and Erin Whyte. The other two teams in the top three met each other, Salford City Lionesses and Wythenshawe Town battling out a 1-1 draw with goals from Leah Embley and Martha Smart respectively. The result means that Wythenshawe stay second, one point ahead of Salford and Wigan Athletic Ladies, 7-2 winners at Bury FC Women Res courtesy of an Isobel Ball hat-trick, Molly Hassall, Sophie Hutchinson, Grace Cuffy and Lily Whitfield. Shannon Gill, Amy Huyton and Hanna Chlodek were the scorers as Atherton Laburnum Rovers won for the first time, 3-2 against Stockport County Development.
The top two did not play in Division One South and this gave a chance for third placed Wirral Utd to catch up ground with a 3-1 win away to Warrington Town, goals from Sara Noori, Rebecca Tebb and Taylor Oakley. Wirral Phoenix meanwhile edged out Runcorn Linnets by the odd goal in seven, courtesy of Jessica Smylie, Hannah Dixon, Shaney Bond and Rebecca Beesley. MSB Woolton are off the mark, first half goals from Kirstie Pickin and Isabel Davies giving them a 2-1 victory against Mossley Hill Athletic.
In the League Cup, Bolton Wanderers made a smooth progress at the expense of Morecambe, with a 12-2 victory. Naomi Lawrence bagged a five-goal haul and Ella Tweedle scored a hat-trick, with Poppy Wallis, Lucy Walsh, Molly Wood and Elizabeth Hamer also getting on the scoresheet.
South West League
Portishead Town are still setting the early pace in the Premier Division, notching up their third straight win with a 3-1 success against B2A Women. All of the goals came in the first half, Emily Lindsay's opening strike being cancelled out by Rhian Robbins, before Mia Blazey and Louise Mills sealed the points with further strikes before the interval. Yeovil Town are up into second place after they came away from Poole Town with a 3-2 victory under their belts. Isabella Foster spearheaded the win for the Glovers by hitting a hat-trick, whilst the Dolphins' replies came from Cassidy Wood and Lucy Coalter. AEK Boco claimed a second win on the trot when beating Yate Town 3-1, Lucy Atkinson bagging a brace and Mia Brain the other, with Jessica Frazer replying. Sherborne Town meanwhile claimed their first win of the season, 3-1 at Royal Wootton Bassett Town. Charlotte Harmer, Sienna Trusson and Lissy Shapland were all on target for the Dorset side, with Megan Young responding for Bassett.
Hartpury Women continued their flying start to the new campaign in Division One North, recording a third straight win by easing to a 4-1 success at Bristol Brunel with Lucy Haigh, Isabella Hobson and Caitlin Robinson all on the scoresheet along with an own goal. Gloucester City Res move up to second place after they pipped FC Abbey Meads by the odd goal in seven. Isabelle D'arcy, Kacie Anderson and Kaci-Mai Hergest all scored for Gloucester along with an own goal, whilst Meads netted through Mia Wolo, Michelle Rich and Rita Shahi. Mangotsfield Utd made something of an ominous start to their league matches by scoring nine without reply past previously unbeaten Cirencester Town, led by a hat-trick from Lola Hicks. Helena Constantinou weighed in with a couple and the scoring was completed by Natascha Bevan, Emma Brown, Jade Scammell and Adele Elliott. Downend Flyers got off the mark by winning 1-0 against Corsham Town, a well taken goal from Weronika Jozefowska settling the match on the day.
Division One Central leaders Weston-super-Mare did not play on Sunday but kept hold of top spot as second placed Keynsham Town Res drew 1-1 with Wells City. Maddie Iles was on target for Keynsham, with Wells replying through Ceyda Fordrey. Whitchurch Ladies are up to third following a 4-0 victory away to Bath City, Hannah Gillett netting a goal in each half, with Ilarna Nche and Aimee Clark adding the others. Maddison Stadden, Lily Simmons and Issy Marsh scored the goals as Stockwood Wanderers won for the first time, 3-2 at Paulton Rovers whose replies came from Georgia Vause and Erin Cordier. Sylvie Charlton, Ella Howes, Caisey Kelly and an own goal took Portishead Town Res to a 4-2 success away to Brislington, who scored through a brace from Kaitlan Williams.
Eden Hurst and Grace Markall scored the goals as Bridgwater Utd Res won 2-1 at Ilminster Town, Charlie Pettinger replying, to preserve their three point lead at the top of Division One South. Plymouth Marjon Women are up to second, they defeated Ridgeway Ladies 5-1 thanks to an Aimee Kilpatrick double, Robyn Hearn, Amelia O'Connell and Phoebe White. Amber Hadrill and Jodie Smith were on target for third placed Sticker Women as they drew 2-2 at St Agnes, Laura Baldwin and Sienna Keast netting for the home side. Newquay returned from Bishop's Lydeard with a 2-0 victory under their belts, Beth Prouse and Taylor Ford giving them their first win of the season.
Southern Region League
The top of the table clash between Farnham Town and AFC Portchester finished in a 1-1 draw, Ashlee Hincks on target for Farnham and Portchy netting through Kim Fuller. Southampton Women join them on seven points, they won 3-1 at Sholing with goals from Sky Stone, Chloe Ball and Katie Ellwood. Chelsie Hay, Charlie Snelling and Freya Twigg meanwhile netted for Winchester City Flyers, whose 3-2 win away to Chesham Utd leaves them a single point off the pace. Reading FC Women and Oxford City finished level at 1-1, goals from Ellie Szekeres and Yasmin Edwards scoring respectively, Denham Utd defeated Beaconsfield Town 3-0 with goals from Kayleigh Currivan, Annie Hewitt and Brogan Moore, whilst Layla Drury scored the only goal of the game as Fleet Town won 1-0 at Woodley Utd.
Barton Utd have taken over at the top of Division One North following their 3-0 success at Kidlington, Bryony Vaughan netting twice and Alisha Johnson the other. Previous leaders Finchampstead were beaten 1-0 by Abingdon Utd Development, who are now the third team on seven points with a goal from Lorena Lopez-Catalan. Penn & Tyler's Green sit one point behind the top three after Tori Drew, Ricki-Lee Orange and Maisie Williams gave them a 3-2 victory over Badshot Lea. Megan Brown and Arielle Grant scored for Slough Town as they drew 2-2 with Chesham Utd Development, whose markswomen were Emily Robertson and Jessica Gorst, and honours were also even as Oxford City Development and Farnborough finished level at 1-1 with goals from Molly Carter and Lauren Chennells respectively.
Bognor Regis Town sit in top spot in Division One South after notching up their second straight win, 4-2 against Wimborne Town. Alice Gue, Sophie Humphrey, Rhiannon Hambleton and Lucie Wright scored the goals which see Bognor head a trio of teams at the top, with AFC Portchester Res in second place following their 3-0 success at Whitchurch Utd in which Brooke Marshall, Holly Humphreys and Charlotte Keenan were on target. Lauren Aitken and Mia Gardner netted the goals for Havant & Waterlooville in their 2-0 win away to Andover New Street. Freya Lines bagged a brace for AFC Varsity as they won 2-1 at AFC Stoneham and Bournemouth Sports Res were 4-0 victors away to Bursledon. Millbrook got off the mark when they won 2-1 against Guernsey, thanks to Caitlin Goodwin and Isabelle Turner.
West Midlands League
Hednesford Town have replaced Shrewsbury Town as leaders of the Premier Division after beating them 5-0. Jannelle Starker hit a hat-trick with others from Elisha Davis and Millie Rogers also on target. Hednesford lead the table by two points from the Shrews and Redditch Borough, who moved into second place by scoring nine times without reply past Knowle. Alisha Sheridan bagged a four-goal haul and Jessica Hood netted a hat-trick, with Daisy-Mai Clements also on the scoresheet. Port Vale follow on after Kelsey Richardson and Ellie Edwards scored in their 2-2 draw with Leek Town, who replied through Louise Price and Katie Maya. Shifnal Town were beaten for the first time, 3-1 by Lichfield City whose markswomen were Jacqueline Corazza, Samantha White and Courtney Dilger. Marianne Taho (2), Hannah Davis and Megan Holdcroft took Coundon Court to a 4-0 success at Stourbridge and Solihull Moors defeated Coventry Sphinx 3-1, goals coming from Grace Chaneler, Connie Allen and Molly Bubb.
It was a good day for away teams in Division One North, including leaders Sutton Utd who have gone five points clear as they won 3-0 at Shrewsbury Up & Comers. Chasetown are up to fourth after Karen Harrigan-Clough, Chloe East-Goodman and Isla Evans gave them a 3-1 victory over Burton Albion and Telford Town narrowly got the better of local rivals AFC Telford Utd, beating them 3-2 with strikes from Maisie-Mae Docherty (2) and Lessong Janneh.
Halesowen Town have a lead of three points in Division One South, they edged out Redditch Utd by the odd goal in seven thanks to Imogen Butler, Ellie McGovern, Niamh Murphy and Bethney Taylor. Previous leaders Leamington Ladies were beaten 4-2 by Alvechurch who move above them into second, with Simone Brown, Olivia Baker, Giselle Calame-Kutia and Freya Lawton all getting on the scoresheet. Lauren Jones netted twice along with Esther Lau-Mackaay and Jessica Lingham as Long Itchington chalked up their first win with a 4-1 success at Evesham Utd and Hereford FC Women were 2-1 victors over Bromsgrove Sporting. Milly Ponting and Leah Ritson were on the target for Worcester City U21 in their 2-2 draw with Droitwich Spa, who claimed their first point of the campaign through a double from Holly Rogers.
