Eastern Region League
Haringey Borough are the opening day leaders in the Premier Division after opening their campaign with a 5-0 victory over Histon. Nia Garwood was on target twice along with Eloise Cattini, Mia Obeng and Connie Wakeford. Brentwood Town meanwhile defeated Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers 2-0 thanks to Poppy Binding and Tilly Jones. Last season's runners-up Royston Town began on a winning note, a Rachel Dugdale goal giving them a 1-0 win against Wroxham, whilst Brooke Haylock (2) and Ammarah Ali took Atletico London to a 3-2 success against Harpenden Town. AFC Sudbury were the only visiting team to win on the day, 2-1 at St Albans City courtesy of Jessica Allen and an own goal, whilst a second half equaliser from Ava Dignam earned Bowers & Pitsea a 1-1 draw with Watford Development, who had led through Jessica Darcy.
Luton Town Development have made a flying start in Division One North, Princess Mgbemere netting a brace in their 5-1 victory at Needham Market. Jasmin Cemal, Carla Todd and Georgia Wood weighed in with the other goals. Gabrielle Cobb (2), Ellie Nicholls, Jessica Queimado and Erin Robinson accounted for the goals as Thetford Town defeated Newmarket Town 5-2. Cambridge City meanwhile edged out Hitchin Belles 1-0, courtesy of a strike from Jessica Morley. Matilda O'Keefe bagged a brace for Ampthill Town in their 2-2 draw with Costessey Sports, who netted through Thea Hackney and Alisha Juby, whilst Real Bedford Development and Dunstable also shared four goals, Taylah Parker and Madeline White on target for Real whilst Dunstable responded through Lauren Garner and Monet-Grace Wille.
AFC Sudbury Res rounded off a good day for their club by beating Hutton 5-0 in Division One South. Amelia Karkoska (2), Phoebe Robbins, Erinn Cook and Grace Slatter scored the goals for Sudbury whilst Leyton Orient ran out 4-0 winners away to Toby Women. Gaby Freedman, Ewelina Przybylek, Zoe Rushen and Therese Addison took Chelmsford City to a 4-1 success at Wormley Rovers and AFC Welwyn edged out Colchester Utd by the odd goal in nine, courtesy of a Brionne Fowle hat-trick, Jade Roberts and an own goal. Southend Utd meanwhile won 1-0 against Hertford Town with a strike from Hannah Stone.
London & South East League
Brentford challenged for the league title for most of last season and they have started well this time around, beating Eastbourne Borough 4-1 on the opening day. Wiktoria Kiszkis was on target twice along with Ashley Cheatley and Abbi Smith for the Bees whilst newly promoted Bromley matched their 4-1 scoreline against Worthing, thanks to a double from Charlotte Lee along with Morgan Searle and Maddison Chamney-Farrand. Aylesford also made an impressive start with a 3-0 success at Newhaven, Leigha Bradding-Butler netting twice and Rebecca Keyte the other. Hammersmith marked their first ever Premier Division match by winning a high scoring affair, 5-3 against Millwall Lionesses. Bells Wordsworth, Jess Harris, Hope Mumford, Dulcie Gray and Victoria Neuefeind were all on the scoresheet for Hammersmith. Ashford Town (Middlesex) meanwhile got off the mark by beating Dorking Wanderers 3-2 thanks to Charlotte Close (2) and Amelia Halawi.
Dulwich Hamlet Res recorded the biggest victory in DIvision One North, scoring seven times without reply past Hackney. Neve Mayes hit a hat-trick and Anna Stones weighed in with a brace, whilst Nikiya Palmer-Steele and an own goal completed the tally. Herne Bay meanwhile defeated Carshalton Athletic 4-1 with strikes from Elena Brock, Lily Harris, Isobel Lewis-Taggart and Emily Hall. Sanaa Williams (2) and Andrea Chan accounted for the goals as Camden Town came away from AFC Greenwich Borough with a 3-0 win under their belts and Maidstone Utd were also 3-0 victors against Actonians Res, courtesy of a goal apiece from Holly Theobald, Victoria Campbell and Ellie Hinkley. Daniela Aguiar and Sarah Stevens were both on target for Tooting Bec as they edged out Clapton Community 2-1.
Saltdean Utd Development had a good season in Division One South last time and they have started the new campaign by running out 6-0 winners over Hastings Utd. Phoebe Michie led the scoring with a hat-trick and she was joined on the scoresheet by Amy White, Jess Fry and Neve Cadle. Rosanne Fine bagged a hat-trick for Ashmount Leigh as they won 4-1 at Montpelier Villa, Eleanor Killick-Bird adding the other goal. Two second half strikes from Kaitlyn Paul helped Three Bridges to a 4-2 victory over Dorking Wanderers B, Amelia Sandys and Martha Behr contributing the others, whilst Tonbridge Angels also won 4-2 at Steyning Town Community with Mollyanne Herbert-Smith, Aimee Churchill, Grace Mayhead and Faith Gilson all on target. Steph Fausse netted for Ashford Utd in their 1-1 with Leatherhead, who scored through Karly Kingsley.
North West League
A five-goal second half blast helped Bury FC Women to an 8-2 victory over Tranmere Rovers on the opening day. Ellie Cook netted twice and there was one apiece from Jade Parker, Murron Aldread, Ellie Adams, Freya Smith, Ava Hanson and Caitlin Clarke. FC United of Manchester matched Bury's result by also winning 8-2 at Poulton Vics and they also netted five times after the break. Martha Atkinson spearheaded the win with a hat-trick and Tamara Hamer hit a brace, with one each from Mia Henderson, Hollie O'Neill and Millie Leytham. Nantwich Town also started well when they defeated FC St Helens 6-2 courtesy of Katie Greenwood (2), Charlotte Crees, Layla Woollam, Anna Shimizu and an own goal whilst Abigail Brown, Lauren Sharples and Lily Weston helped Bolton Wanderers to a 3-1 success at Darwen FC Women. Alicia Scott scored the only goal of the game as newly promoted Preston North End won 1-0 against Crewe Alexandra whilst last season's runners-up Mancunian Unity made a winning start with a 1-0 victory at West Didsbury & Chorlton.
Accrington Stanley made a strong start in Division One North with a crushing 7-1 win against Morecambe. Katherine Taylor and Summer West each netted twice for Stanley along with Sanah Mehdi, Lily Edmondson and Megan Oliver. Wigan Athletic netted six times without reply past Blackburn Community SC, Sophie Whelan bagging a hat-trick with Scarlett Grindley, Abbie-Jayne Moore and an own goal making up the total. Abbie Forster was on target six times and Jasmine Crowther added the other goal for Penrith AFC Ladies who returned from Bolton Wanderers Res with a 7-2 victory under their belts. Beatrix Barber, Hayley Bracken, Morgan McGrady and Ella O'Nions were the markswomen for Workington Town in their 4-1 success at Fleetwood Town Wrens, whilst Blackpool defeated Haslingden 4-2 with strikes from Alice Earnshaw (2), Leah Fielding and Olivia Sturgeon.
In Division One Central, Wythenshawe Town opened up with a ten-goal blast away to Bury FC Women Res. Sabrina Hoysted hit a hat-trick and the others came from Lauren Crawford, Steph Ambo, Lauren Tutty, Hayley Nash, Caris Valente, Martha Smart and Michelle Ryan. Katie King (2), Alicia Barnett, Holly Davenport and Daisy Mason accounted for the goals as Rochdale defeated Atherton Laburnum Rovers 5-0 and Wigan Athletic were 4-1 winners at Stockport County, Grace Cuffy netting twice along with Natalie Ainsworth and Ava Showering.
West Didsbury & Chorlton Res recorded the highest opening day win in Division One South, Aaliyah Turner netting four times in their 7-1 victory over MSB Woolton, Maddie Ashton (2) and Olive Cookson adding the others. Rebecca Tebb, Jade Pennington and Taylor Oakley were the markswomen for newcomers Wirral Utd who beat Runcorn Linnets 3-0 whilst Chester FC Women defeated Wirral Phoenix 2-0 thanks to Mya Brown and Jessice Byrne. Mossley Hill got off to a winning start with a 2-1 success away to Tranmere Rovers Development, Mollie Farley and Ceri Ogdon scoring their goals.
West Midlands League
Redditch Borough have made a flying start in the Premier Division, commencing their fixtures by beating Shrewsbury Town 6-1. Jessica Hood led the scoring with a hat-trick and the others came from Daisy-Mai Clements, Molly Maguire and Alisha Sheridan. Darcey Garner hit a hat-trick to steer Knowle to a 3-1 victory over Coventry Sphinx and Solihull Moors were also 3-1 winners against Stourbridge, courtesy of Gina Burton, Grace Cheneler and Molly Bubb. Two first half goals from Sophie Shale earned Coundon Court a 2-1 success away to Lichfield City whilst last season's runners-up Shifnal Town started well, beating Leek Town 1-0 with Frances Creen grabbing the game's only goal. Ellie Edwards gave Port Vale a first half lead against Hednesford Town, who battled back after the break to earn themselves a 1-1 draw.
Sutton Utd made a dramatic impact on their league debut in Division One North, scoring eight times without reply past Whitchurch Alport. The other three games were much closer affairs - Abigail Beady scored both goals as AFC Telford Utd defeated Newcastle Town 2-0 whilst Rugby Town edged out Chasetown by the odd goal in five, courtesy of Katie Andrews, Molly Law and Evelin Szabo. Emma Benton was on target for Coton Green Ladies in their 1-1 draw with Walsall FC Women, who netted through Molly Cook.
Redditch Utd have also started well in Division One South, beating Worcester City U21 5-1. Kiera-Cheynelle Scarlett and Rosie Hargreaves each scored twice, with Rhianna Medar also on target. Poppy Kelly (2), Kim Maddison-Connor and Naomi Morgan netted the goals as Leamington Ladies defeated Long Itchington 4-2. Gabriella Rose was on target four times and Lucy Stephens added the other as Halesowen Town beat Evesham Utd 5-4 in a high scoring affair, whilst Crusaders pipped Droitwich Spa 4-3 courtesy of Dionne Williams (2), Dani Selmes and Kia Hopkins-Shaw. A brace from Harriet Adams gave Hereford FC Women a point from a 2-2 draw against Bromsgrove Sporting, who scored through Natalie Sabin and Freya Marsh.
