The Regional Leagues


East Midlands League


Rotherham Utd maintained their hopes of a top three finish in the Premier Division with a 2-0 victory over Stamford AFC Women, Leah Harrison and Lily-May Jackson scoring their goals. Mansfield Town stay three points behind them after Ainsley Allan and Elisha Whittaker gave them a 2-1 win away to Wellingborough Town. Gainsborough Trinity meanwhile defeated SJR Worksop 2-0 thanks to a brace from Lauren Crellin.


After having already wrapped up the Division One North title, Grimsby Town Academy moved themselves closer towards a 100% season when scoring seven times without reply past Cleethorpes Town. Milly North was on target twice along with Sophie Gray, Olivia Kershaw, Abbie-May Emslie, Beth Wharton and Mia Westerman. Hannah Daniel, Natasha Leach and Yasmine Uppal were the markswomen for Arnold Eagles as they finished off their league games with a 3-1 success at Chesterfield Community Trust and they must wait and see if they will take the runners-up spot. Only Dronfield Town can still overhaul them and they kept their chances alive by beating Lincoln Utd Development 6-1, Kristine Humble was on target four times along with Sophie Hoyes and Zoe Bratley.


Things remain tight in Division One Central and University of Nottingham are back on top again after beating previous leaders Long Eaton Utd 2-1. They head the table on goal difference from Nottingham Trent University who were 4-2 winners over Asfordby Amateurs with Elizabeth Bedford, Claudia Dawkins, Jennifer Smith and Matilda McGuigan all on target. Rejoice Amieghemen netted twice and Olivia Skinner-Pelaz the other as Sherwood FC Women won for the first time, 3-0 against West Bridgford Colts.


In Division One South, New Bradwell St Peter stepped up their title challenge by beating Leicester City Ladies 3-2 with goals from Cara Brooker (2) and Emily Hale. Brackley Town Juniors meanwhile lifted themselves off the bottom of the table by beating River City 5-1, Olivia Atkinson hitting a hat-trick with Lydia Avann and Eleanor Wragg adding the others.


Eastern Region League


Stevenage Women require six more points from their remaining five games to be confirmed as Champions, following their 3-0 win away to Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers. Sarah WIltshire netted twice and Amy Makewell the other whilst Royston Town received another setback when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Harpenden Town. Isabella Simmons was on target for Royston, whilst Harpenden netted through Sophia Amanor. Royston's result means that Atletico London have replaced them in second place after Joanna Butler-Williams, Poppy Hartwell and Brooke Haylock gave them a 3-0 victory over St Albans City. Wroxham remain in contention for a top two place and maintained those hopes by beating Hutton 3-1 with strikes from Hannah Fuller, Lauren Hailes and Rebecca Stephenson. Enfield Town remain rooted to the bottom following their 3-2 defeat away to Watford Development, with Jada-Chey'ah Graham, Rebecca Lovelace and Isla Bellamy all on target for the home side.


In Division One North, Tegan Wilson and Poppy Young scored the goals as Stevenage Women Development won 2-1 at Thetford Town to narrow the gap on leaders Histon to two points, although they are running out of games. Real Bedford Res are their main challengers for the runners-up spot, they also won 2-1 away to Colney Heath thanks to Lauren Hawkins and Georgie Oliver. Dunstable Town Lionesses follow on in fourth, they beat Biggleswade Utd 3-2 with Monet-Grace Wille (2) and Cerys Rees on the scoresheet.


One match was played in Division One South, Southend Utd and Wormley Rovers battling out a 1-1 draw. Hannah Stone scored the goal which takes Southend off the bottom of the table, whilst Holly Fox was on target for Wormley.


London & South East League


Dartford caught up ground on the top two when they ran out 4-0 winners over Ebbsfleet Utd, with Charlotte Cunningham, Georgie Davis, Mya Lewis-Powell and Molly Smith all notching a goal apiece. Ashford Town (Middlesex) pegged Barking back to a 2-2 draw, Sofia Allan scoring a late equaliser to add to Elena Nitsche's earlier goal, whilst the visitors netted through Lexxie Blythe and Emilia Parsons. Amelia Cutler and Emma Spear accounted for the goals as Sutton Utd won 2-0 at Sport London e Benfica and Aylesford were also 2-0 victors against Newhaven courtesy of Emma Healy and Kara Richardson. On Tuesday night, Saltdean Utd returned to the top of the table Georgia Bridges and Megan Curran were on target in their 2-0 success against Newhaven.


One match was played in Division One North, AFC Greenwich Borough moving themselves into the top half of the table when Ellie-Mae Hogan, Ruby Wignall, Aliyah Sheridan and Kim Dixson scored the goals in their 4-1 win away to Ashford Utd.


North East League


Alnwick Town Juniors replaced Spennymoor Town in third place after they defeated them 4-1. Sophie Greener scored a hat-trick for Alnwick and Taylor Straughan added the other goal. Ponteland Utd meanwhile beat Sunderland West End 4-0 thanks to Melody Brooks, Sophie Hollis, Isla Maggs and Chloe Adam. Wallsend Boys Club are out of the bottom two following their 2-0 victory over Ossett Utd, Rhiannon Holmes and Tamara Bowen scoring their goals.


Birtley Town retained their five point lead at the top of the Northern Division after a 6-3 victory at Hartlepool Utd, Nichole Havery was on target five times and Christine Murray added the other. i2i International Soccer Academy keep up the chase in second, Mia Corder (2) and Danielle Nanga seeing them to a 3-0 win against Gateshead Rutherford Ladies. Stockton Town are on the brink of the top three after they beat Berwick Rangers Community Academy 4-0 courtesy of a Tiana Hudson hat-trick and Talia Korucu. Park View were 2-0 winners at Wallsend BC Res and Washington FC Women won 3-0 against Redcar Town with goals from Amy Coatesworth (2) and Sophie Slasor.


Leeds Modernians have regained the leadership of the Southern Division following their 6-0 victory against Ilkley Town. Aimee Myers bagged a brace and she was joined on the scoresheet by Caitlyn Atkin, Beth Barkley, Mia Moorhouse and Jasmine Potts. Sheffield Wednesday meanwhile won a high scoring affair 6-4 against Rossington Main, thanks to Kelly Franklin (2), Courtney Kaye (2), Amy Broomhead and Milly Colford.


North West League


AFC Fylde are just one point away from the league title after they slammed Darwen FC Women 9-2 to stretch their lead to six points. Ocean Flanagan, Lois Moore, Hollie Kelsh and Molly Kelly all scored twice for the Coasters, with Niamh Corrigan also on target. Defeat for Darwen means that Bolton Wanderers move back above them into third after beating Poulton Vics 4-0, courtesy of an Ella Tweedle hat-trick and Abigail Brown. Elsewhere, an injury time goal from Elle Turner gave FC United of Manchester a 1-0 win against Tranmere Rovers.


In Division One North, Accrington Stanley are up to third following their 2-1 success away to Bolton Wanderers Res, Maisy Dooley and Melissa Adamson scoring their goals.


South West League


County Cup duties meant that only one match was played in the league on Sunday, but it was a very important one between two teams firmly involved in the Division One North title race.


Leaders Corsham Town went down to only their second league defeat of the season, beaten 2-0 by Royal Wootton Bassett Town. Lauren Bulley and Laura Jefferies scored the goals as Bassett avenged their defeat to Corsham a month ago, and the result moved them up into third, three points off the pace but possessing games in hand.


Southern Region League


The title race has suddenly been opened up after leaders Wycombe Wanderers went down to only their second defeat of the season, 1-0 to AFC Portchester with Charmaine True scoring the only goal. Along with Portchester, Winchester City Flyers have seen their challenge boosted and they notched up an emphatic victory over Woodley Utd. Chelsie Hay had a great day in front of goal, bagging herself a seven-goal haul, Charlie Snelling weighed in with a hat-trick and Shayne Prasad contributed a double. Yasmin Edwards netted twice for Oxford City in their 2-2 draw with Southampton Women, who scored through Danielle Kjaer and Eliska Lynn.


Another week, another win for Division One North leaders Denham Utd who are now twelve points clear after beating Ascot Utd Res 6-1. Niamh Cashin and Brogan Moore were each on target twice for Denham along with Annie Hewitt and Jemima Potter. April England (2) and Beth Hawtin were the markswomen for Abingdon Utd Development as they won 3-0 against second placed Larkspur Rovers and Farnborough were 2-0 victors at Slough Town thanks to Poppy Hawkin and an own goal.


The top two did not play in Division One South and this allowed AFC Stoneham to catch up some ground on them by beating Bemerton Heath Harlequins 4-2 with doubles from Aimee Gritt and Mia Flood. Wimborne Town and Andover New Street battled out a goalless draw and AFC Varsity were 2-1 winners over Bursledon thanks to a brace from Gurinder Rayat.


West Midlands League


Lye Town have gone eight points clear at the top of the Premier Division following a 4-0 victory against Port Vale, in which Natasha Baptiste scored all four goals. In the other game, Hednesford Town moved into third place after Jessica Booker and Holly Bullock gave them a 2-0 win away to Leek Town.


Walsall FC Women kept their title hopes alive in Division One North when they defeated Newcastle Town 2-0. Molly Cook scored both goals to leave her side eight points behind leaders Chasetown, but with two games in hand. The spoils were shared in the other match, Madison Hawthorne and an own goal saw Telford Town to a 2-2 draw against Rugby Town, who netted through Molly Law and Millie McGahey.


It was a good day for visiting teams in Division One South, starting with leaders Droitwich Spa who doubled their advantage with a 3-2 win over Halesowen Town, with Charlotte Criddle (2) and Ameerah Ishola scoring their goals. Georgia Conway, Linda Turner and Poppy Kelly accounted for the goals as Leamington Ladies won 3-0 at Crusaders and this takes them into third place, ahead of Bromsgrove Sporting who went down 3-1 to Long Itchington, Sarah Smith netting twice and Jessica Lingham the other.   


Coventry Sphinx progressed in the League Cup after Sandra Dziedzic, Madison Norton, Jahni Simmons and Amanda Whalley took them to a 4-1 victory over Burton Albion. Solihull Moors meanwhile defeated Alvechurch in a penalty shootout after the teams had battled out a 2-2 draw.
