The Regional Leagues
East Midlands League
Arnold Eagles cut the lead of Grimsby Town Academy to five points in Division One North, thanks to a 3-1 victory over Cleethorpes Town in the solitary league match to take place. Hannah Daniel, Natasha Leach and Yasmine Uppal were all on target for second placed Arnold. Chesterfield Community Trust meanwhile entered the top three by beating Newark Town 5-0, courtesy of a Rosalyn Jones brace, Callie Moss, Emily Walker and Madeline Watkinson.
Eastern Region League
Only one match was played throughout the league on Sunday, this was in Division One South where Needham Market leapfrogged Brentwood Town into third place after beating them 4-1. Annie Posnett netted twice along with Mia Etheridge-Golding and Megan McCrae Robinson, whilst Maizie Kelly netted a consolation for the visitors.
London & South East League
In the only Premier Division match to be played, Millwall Lionesses moved into the top half of the table after beating Newsham 3-1. Toni-Anne Bussey gave Millwall a first half lead and they went on to add further goals through Ciara Watling and Maisie Joyce, with Emilia Rahaus replying.
Two second half goals lifted Herne Bay up the Division One North table as they won 2-0 against Richmond & Kew. Isobel Lewis-Taggart scored both goals for the Kent side, who are now in a mid-table position.
In Division One South, Bexhill Utd picked up an important point when they shared a 1-1 draw with Montpelier Villa. Poppy Harrod scored the goal which means that Bexhill are now five points above danger, whilst Montpelier netted through Ellie Smith.
North East League
Ponteland Utd have a number of games in hand in mid-table in the Premier Division and they can lift themselves into a significant position by winning their games in hand. They did their cause no harm on Sunday when they defeated Wallsend Boys Club 5-2, courtesy of a goal apiece from Chloe Adam, Melody Brooks, Katie Monaghan, Lucy Plews and Chloe Wilkinson.
Birtley Town have taken over at the top of the Northern Division after scoring nine times without reply past Wallsend BC Res. Nichole Havery spearheaded the win with a five-goal haul and she was joined on the scoresheet by Courtney Mole, Brogan Prudhoe, Lauren Henderson and Sophia Winship. Birtley have a two point advantage at the top with i2i International Soccer Academy in second place, they climbed above previous leaders Gateshead Rutherford Ladies on goal difference by beating Hartlepool Utd 7-0, Leschea Guiste hitting a hat-trick with others from Steph Reyes, Taylor Donaldson and Mia Corder as well as an own goal.
In the Southern Division, Altofts Ladies moved to within a single point of fourth placed Sheffield Wednesday after beating them 4-1, with Hollie Betts, Nicola Smith, Grace Wilkinson and Emily Scott as their markswomen.
North West League
With most of their rivals in County Cup action, Bolton Wanderers Res took the opportunity to stretch their lead to six points when they defeated Morecambe 4-1. Erin Smith netted a goal in each half, with Leah Johnson and Flora Rigby adding the others.
Ashton Town are up to third in the Division One Central table after scoring eight times without reply past Radcliffe FC Women. Charley O'Neill and Isobel Ball both bagged braces, with Martha Tosh, Emily Melvin, Alicia Jones and Layla Woollam also on target. There were also eight goals on offer at Mossley Hill, where the home side beat Pilkington Women 5-3 with Mia Little, Jodie Mortimer, Ava Saidie, Millie Critchley and Mollie Farley netting a goal apiece.
Nantwich Town remain five points clear in Division One South following their 6-1 victory over Wirral Phoenix. Amanda Fallon hit a hat-trick for Nantwich, along with Katie Greenwood, Levi Lander and Alicia Hatton. Chester FC Women made sure of staying on their heels in second place when Lola Smith, Chenai Lefebvre, Ciara Lee and Sarah Redman all scored to give them a 4-0 win against Liverpool Feds Res.
South West League
County Cup duties meant that only one match was played in the league on Sunday, but it was a very important one between two teams in the Division One North title race.
Corsham Town gave their chances an enormous boost when they won 2-0 away to rivals Royal Wootton Bassett Town, The home side went into the match with an unbeaten record but after a goalless first half, two strikes in the last ten minutes from substitute Chauntine Lyons handed Corsham a result which leaves Corsham one point behind leaders Mangotsfield Utd, whilst Bassett are a further two points adrift in fourth.
Southern Region League
Wycombe Wanderers further extended their Premier Division lead to eleven points by running out 5-0 winners over Badshot Lea. Kayla Potter gave them the lead and went on to score a hat-trick, with Jessica Watkins and Chloe Melton adding the others. Southampton Women meanwhile won 4-0 away to Beaconsfield Town and this has taken them up to second, Chloe Ball netting twice for the Sirens along with Danielle Kjaer and Eliska Lynn.
Division One North leaders Denham Utd made it ten wins out of ten when n beating Chesham Utd Development 2-0, Annie Hewitt and Chelsea-Rose Keary scoring their goals. Denham lead the table by five points from Penn & Tylers Green, who went second after Ellie Lovelock (2), Rachel Southby and Shannon Read gave them a 4-1 victory over Slough Town. In the other game, Ascot Utd Res were also 4-1 winners against Oxford City Development, courtesy of doubles from Lily Pendlebury and Kezia Nzeribe.
Bursledon leapt into a mid-table position in Division One South after scoring six times without reply past AFC Varsity. Isobel Pouncy was on target twice along with Charlet Norman-Tasker, Sophie Lunnon, Emma Holmes and Samantha Gamble.
West Midlands League
Lye Town are in top spot for the first time this season after they beat Hednesford Town 2-0 thanks to Britanee Lote and Natasha Baptiste. Solihull Moors continue to close in on the top three, with Annie Highway, Gina Burton and Humera Ashfaq giving them a 3-0 victory over Coventry Sphinx. Alanya Tezgel scored the only goal of the game for Leek Town as they beat Burton Albion 1-0 and Coundon Court won for the third time this season, 2-0 against Alvechurch, courtesy of goals from Megan Holdcroft and Sophie Shale.
One match was played in Division One North and it produced plenty of goals, Lichfield City beating Chasetown 6-4 to extend their lead to eleven points. Shelbie Cartwright and Courtney Dilger both netted doubles, with Corinna Williams and Chloe Hodd adding the others.
Worcester City Res have climbed back into the top four in Division One South, following their 3-0 victory over Kingfisher, where Tinny Conway, Charlee Miller and Freya Wood all getting on the scoresheet.
