East Midlands League
Chesterfield FC Women got themselves off to a flying start on the opening day in the Premier Division on Sunday when they scored eleven times without reply past Anstey Nomads. Sophie Marshall led the scoring with a hat-trick, Amy Nowell weighed in with a brace and there was one apiece from Evie Carter, Laura Porritt, Abbie Staples, Romy Sheppard, Millie Standen and Jessica Waplington. Gainsborough Trinity also made an impressive beginning to their campaign, Izabelle Anderson netting twice along with Natalie Thomas and Lauren Crellin as they won 4-2 at Rotherham Utd. Katie Platts (2) and Millie Mellors accounted for the goals as Mansfield Town beat Stamford AFC Women 3-1 whilst SJR Worksop edged out Loughborough Foxes Vixens 2-1 thanks to a brace from Millee Herbert-Clarke.
Eastern Region League
Stevenage Women have a lead of two points at the top of the Premier Division after Amy Gooderham, Lucy Webster and Sarah Wiltshire gave them a 3-0 victory away to Hutton. Haringey Borough meanwhile replaced Bowers & Pitsea in second place after winning their meeting 3-2 thanks to Nia Garwood, Chloe Ions and Vedhika Walia. Emma Slater hit a hat-trick for last season's runners-up Royston Town as they beat Wroxham 3-0, a result which sees them complete the top three. Defeat for Wroxham means that St Albans City move above them into fifth, they won 2-1 against Atletico London courtesy of Kayleigh Gray and Alicia Powey. Holly Walker and Victoria Leyer each bagged braces, with Millie Baggott adding the other, as Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers ran out 5-1 winners over Enfield Town and Watford Development won 2-1 at Harpenden Town with strikes from Isabel Doolan and Aliyah Anderson.
London & South East League
The top two each recorded victories to keep pace with each other at the top of the Premier Division and Saltdean Utd remain in top spot on goal difference after Leila Emmerson, Izzy Glass-Oliver and Maria Tsaftaridou all scored in their 3-0 victory over Aylesford. Brentford stay level with Saltdean as they also made it four wins from four games, beating Sutton Utd 3-1 thanks to Renai McCrea, Asees Sangha and Chelsie Berry. Eleanor Jenks-Landen scored the only goal of the game, five minutes from time, as Barking made it two wins in three games with a 1-0 success against Ashford Town (Middlesex). Danielle Parfitt (2) and Chloe Winchester ensured that Newhaven ran out 3-0 winners away to Sport London e Benfica and Dorking Wanderers also won for the first time, edging out Millwall Lionesses 4-3 thanks to Caitlin Savage, Amelia Halawi, Georgia Heasman and Helen Ogle.
In Division One North, Hammersmith took advantage of the other teams being involved in FA Cup action by winning 1-0 away to Dulwich Hamlet Res. Daniella Kateeba scored the game's only goal for a fourth straight win, which takes them five points clear at the top.
North East League
Thornaby Women have gone to top spot in the Premier Division following a 3-1 victory over Ossett Utd in which Sophie Curle (2) and Beth Guy were on target. They head the fledgling table by two points from Spennymoor Town who defeated South Shields 7-1 with Holly Doogan, Shannon Reed, Megan Elliott, Sophie Hodgson, Ellie Smith, Kelly Garcia and Amy Richardson all getting on the scoresheet. Libby Rees and Catherine Johnston each bagged doubles, with one apiece from Sophie Greener, Rhiannon Mallaburn, Chloe Young and Isla Third, for Alnwick Town in their 8-2 win against Brunsmeer Athletic which gets them off the mark and Harrogate Town also won for the first time, 4-1 at Wallsend Boys Club with strikes from Holly Smith (2), Emia Hendrickson-Eastwood and Lauren Doyle.
North West League
AFC Fylde continue to set a strong pace in the Premier Division with a fifth win in a row, beating Darwen FC Women 3-0. Lois Moore netted twice for the Coasters in the opening ten minutes, before Beth Mason added the third goal. Fylde now head the Premier Division table by three points after second placed Manchester Unity were beaten for the first time, 2-1 by Bolton Wanderers who scored through Faye Knox and Caitlin Clarke. Tranmere Rovers remain three points off the pace following their 5-0 success against Fleetwood Town Wrens, Katie Bowers-Folan hitting a hat-trick along with Ruby Phillips and Eleanor Doyle. Crewe Alexandra follow in fourth, a Tasia Brough brace giving them a 2-0 win over West Didsbury & Chorlton, whilst Izzy Morris was on target for FC United of Manchester in their 1-0 victory against Poulton Vics. Bury FC Women were also 1-0 winners over Curzon Ashton, thanks to a solitary goal from Georgia Payton.
Bolton Wanderers Res maintained their perfect start in Division One North, making it six wins out of six with a 4-2 success at Workington Town. Ella Tweedle, Emmanuella Cambell, Eden Slater and Gracie Wolfendale all got on the scoresheet for Bolton. Chorley Women Development are off the mark following their 4-1 victory over Fleetwood Town Wrens Res, Robyn Wojnarowski bagging a hat-trick and Hannah Pritchard adding the other.
South West League
Sherborne Town recorded the biggest win on the opening day of the season in the Premier Division, making the long trip to Saltash Utd a successful one with a 5-0 victory. Imogen Miller was on target twice for the Dorset side along with Harriet Johnston, Ellie Orritt and Sienna Trusson. Gloucester City have also started well, beating AFC St Austell 3-1 thanks to Holly Rogers, Kamissa Stichter and Margaret Neall, with Mia MacNab replying. Emma King and Lucy Coalter accounted for the goals as Poole Town returned from Bishop's Lydeard with a 2-0 win under their belts. AEK Boco were narrow 2-1 victors in a well contested derby match with Frampton Rangers. Megan Bloomer netted a goal in each half for Boco, either side of what had been an equaliser from Lily-Rose Turner. Pucklechurch Sports and Torquay Utd meanwhile battled out a 1-1 draw, Sophie Sweet giving Pucklechurch a first half lead and Matilda Franchi levelling after the break.
AFC Brislington played their first match in the league following promotion and shared a 2-2 draw with fellow newcomers Gloucester City Res in their Division One North clash. Rhianna Ben-Carew scored both goals for Brislington, including a late equaliser after City had led through Miranda Smith and Naomi Baldwin.
Southern Region League
The five Premier Division matches on Sunday yielded a total of 32 goals, eleven of which were scored by Wycombe Wanderers against Fleet Town. Kayla Potter netted four times for the Chairgirls, Chloe Melton weighed in with a hat-trick and they were joined on the scoresheet by Anisha Hill (2), Laura Hennessy and Jessica Watkins. AFC Portchester are keeping pace with Wycombe, they won 3-0 at Badshot Lea thanks to second half goals from Lauren Aitken (2) and Gemma Hillier. Southampton Women and Oxford City meanwhile shared the points in an eight-goal thriller; Eliska Lynn, Izzy Crooks, Ella Wright and Chloe Tedman all netted for the Sirens whilst Oxford responded through a Yasmin Edwards brace, Ellie White and an own goal. Sholing ran out 5-1 winners over Woodley Utd with Sophie Lee (2), Phoebe Fitzgerald (2) and Claudia Weston on the scoresheet, whilst Henna Hussain and Katie Riddington gave Beaconsfield Town a 2-1 victory over Reading FC Community Trust.
In Division One North, Abingdon Utd Development made it two wins out of two when Beth Hawtin (2), Charlotte Bigmore, April England, Chloe Forrester and Frida Ives gave them a 6-1 victory at Ascot Utd Res. Joining Abingdon on six points are Larkspur Rovers who beat Chesham Utd Development 5-2 courtesy of Shenice Dyer (2), Calleigh Wright, Kalina Georgieva and Savana Fearon.
One match was played in Division One South, Isobel Weatherly hitting a hat-trick for Bournemouth Sports Res as they shared a 3-3 draw with Guernsey, for whom Calleigh Hedley (2) and Aimee Ogier were on target.
West Midlands League
Lye Town were a whisker away from landing the league title last season, but they served notice on Sunday that they are likely to be in contention once again after beating Leek Town 4-0 on the opening day. Chloe Handy, Natasha Baptiste, Chloe Whyley and Macy Fox all scored a goal apiece. Shrewsbury Town meanwhile won 4-1 against Port Vale thanks to a Jeorgia Carr hat-trick, with Katie Doster also on target. Millie Connolly-Heath, Molly Maguire and Alisha Sheridan all netted for Redditch Borough in their 3-1 victory at Coundon Court, whilst Coventry Sphinx defeated Alvechurch 2-0 with strikes from Anaya O'Brien and Brooke Hornsby. Shifnal Town were the other winners on the day, Jenna Boddison netting the only goal as they won 1-0 at Burton Albion, whilst Leigh Dugmore and Ria Elsmore were on target for Hednesford Town in their 2-2 draw with Solihull Moors, who scored through Tiarna Grizzle and Humera Ashfaq.
The first match of the season was played in Division One South and it ended with honours even, Worcester City Res and Leamington Lions battling out a 2-2 draw. Tinny Conway and Ellie Roberts were on target for Worcester, whilst Leamington's markswomen were Georgia Wilson and Molly Noble.
