East Midlands League


Lincoln Utd finished as runners-up in the Premier Division last season and they have made a fast start this time around, running out 9-1 winners over Dunton & Broughton Utd. Ellie Gilliatt was on target four times along with Demi Barai, Isabella Bogg, Alice Hayes, Chloe Hodgson and Kaitlin Peaker. Phoebe Roe meanwhile bagged a hat-trick for Basford Utd in their 7-0 victory against Long Eaton Utd, Libbi Bexon, Anna Butcher, Alana Crawford and Isabel Sullivan weighing in with the other goals. Mansfield Town won 3-0 against Arnold Eagles thanks to Mathilda Evans, Grace Shipman and Olivia Wheatcroft, whilst an Imogen Fowler hat-trick and Georgina Williams earned Chesterfield a 4-2 success at Ilkeston Town. Sidni Simmons scored the only goal of the game for Rotherham Utd as they beat Grimsby Town 1-0.


In Division One North, Eleanor Rose netted twice along with Annabel Davies, Carly Gill, Kristine Humble, Emily Marsden and an own goal as Dronfield Town defeated Grimsby Borough 7-0. SJR Worksop were 5-0 winners over Oughtibridge WM, including an Emily Murphy double and Emily Myatt, whilst Jade Baker (2) and Lauren Alderson gave Sleaford Town a 3-1 victory over Gainsborough Trinity. Ella McGrorey bagged a brace for Skegness Town in their 2-2 draw with Retford FC Ladies, who netted through Isabelle Thorpe and Katie Stainsby.


Arnold Eagles have made a good start in Division One Central, Natasha Leach hitting a hat-trick for them in their 3-1 victory over Beaumont Park. Sandiacre Town were also 3-1 winners against Loughborough Foxes Vixens, courtesy of Emma Hawkins, Caitlin Want and an own goal. Lily-May Jacobs (2) and Erin Timson accounted for the goals as Notts County Development beat West Bridgford Colts 3-2 and goals from Amy Copley, Macie Smith and Lana Wearne earned Nottingham Trent University a 3-3 draw with Sherwood FC Women, whose scorers were Claudia Dawkins, Harmony McCrackle-Mitchell and Kitty Ward.


Kettering Town took the opening day honours in Division One South as a Lauren Adams double, Kylie Evans and an own goal took them to a 4-0 victory over New Bradwell St Peter. Amelia Boddington hit a hat-trick as Thrapston Town won 5-2 at Buckingham Utd, Katie Hunter and Kerryn Copeland adding the other goals. Alex Bartlett, Charlotte Murphy and Emily Maddocks gave Northampton Town Development a 3-0 victory against Cardea Ladies whilst Stamford AFC Women were 3-1 winners away to Leicester City Ladies thanks to Laura Dodwell (2) and Ellen Marson. Emma Gladman and Rachael Mumford accounted for the goals as Newport Pagnell Town won 2-0 at Nuneaton Borough.


Eastern Region League


Real Bedford held on to their three point lead at the top of the Premier Division with a 5-0 victory over Barking, Gemma Croucher, Natasha Fensome, Chloe Martin, Francesca Partridge and Neve Mayes all scoring a goal apiece. Needham Market’s 7-1 win away to King’s Lynn Town has taken them up to second, Molly Hall hitting a hat-trick along with Lina Nagib (2), Paige Wakefield and Eleanor Rossiter. Marta Borica Boabonay and Ronnell Humes each scored twice, with Tayla Dennis and Kylie Manktelow adding the others, as Haringey Borough defeated Royston Town to go third, with two other teams joining them on four points. Libby Cooper and Olivia Harris netted for Bowers & Pitsea as they shared a 2-2 draw with AFC Dunstable, for whom Mollie Knox bagged a brace, and Luton Town won 3-1 against Wroxham with goals from Andie Dickens, Elizabeth Sanders and Eleanor Wade. St Albans City and Stevenage Women are both off the mark after sharing a 1-1 draw, goals coming from Becky Shephard and Sophie Hendy respectively.


Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers are the new leaders of Division One North after doubles from Victoria Leyer and Tallulah Bell led them to a 6-1 win at Fakenham Town, Abby Hutchin and Shanice Sutton adding the others. Hannah Claughton, Kamile Omeleviciute and Jordanne Sillitoe were all on the scoresheet as second placed Thetford Town defeated Wootton Blue Cross Lionesses 3-0. Katie Hayes and Katie Spiers gave Newmarket Town a 2-1 victory over Yaxley Phoenix and Histon complete a quartet of teams on six points after Jorja Badcock and Laura Leyland both scored in their 2-1 success away to Stevenage Women Development. Harpenden Town meanwhile notched up their first points of the season, beating Biggleswade Utd Reds 2-1 thanks to Rebecca McShane and Sophia Amanor.


Division One South leaders Wodson Park won 3-0 away to Grays Athletic, courtesy of strikes from Christie Seakens, Sophie Vale and Lily Bruno. They lead the way on goal difference from newly promoted Southend Utd Community SC, who edged out Wormley Rovers by the odd goal in nine, Ellie Nicholls hitting a hat-trick with Jordan Castle and Chloe Woolaway adding the others. Lawford follow on in third after Carman Joyce, Megan Foord and Daisy Canny gave them a 3-0 victory over Stanway Pegasus Ladies. Rebecca Lovelace was another hat-trick scorer as Watford Development opened up their campaign by beating Hutton 6-1, Memphis Lee (2) and Holly Wilks were also on the scoresheet. Cheshunt meanwhile got off the mark when a Frances Gamble hat-trick earned them a 3-1 win against Hertford Town.


London & South East League


Gemma Shepherd hit a hat-trick, with Nicha Dyett, Chana Hinds and Emily Vaughan adding the others, as Dartford went three points clear at the top of the Premier Division by beating Dorking Wanderers 6-1. Ebbsfleet Utd are in second place, they won 4-2 at Dulwich Hamlet thanks to Amelia Woodgate (2), Logan O’Shea and Amy Russ. Saltdean Utd are also on six points, Caitlin Sullivan netted twice and Paula Howells the other as they beat Millwall Lionesses 3-2. Ashford Utd had started the day in second but despite goals from Yasmin Howard and Ronni Jeffrey, were held to a 2-2 draw by Enfield Town who scored through Brionne Fowle and Leah Littlechild. Sophie Manzi and Georgia Heasman each netted doubles, with Sasha Adamson and Lilly Lambird adding the others, as Fulham FC Women ran out 6-1 winners over Aylesford and Sutton Utd were 3-0 winners at Crawley AFC Women, with Fern Colepio, Kaydence Kabadaki and Darcy Wells on target.


Division One North leaders Hackney were held to a 2-2 draw by Brentford and head the table by a single point. Chloe Logie scored for Brentford, along with an own goal, whilst Hackney netted through Amy Nicholson and another own goal. Denham Utd scored six times without reply past Camden & Islington Utd and lie one point off the pace, Lauren Cox was on target twice along with Niamh Cashin, Annie Hewitt, Ella King and Phoebe Smith. Sport London e Benfica are also on six points after beating Dulwich Hamlet Res 2-0 with goals from Kimberly Castro and Renata Ferreira. Chloe Bosher and Hannah Williams scored for unbeaten Ashmount Leigh who shared a 2-2 draw with Actonians Ladies Res, for whom Molly O’Reilly netted twice, and goals from Olateju Callisto and Marta Perez earned Clapton Community a 2-0 win over Whyteleafe.


Newhaven stay three points clear at the top of Division One South after they defeated Bognor Regis Town 2-0 with goals from Lucy Collinson and Chloe Evans. Bromley are up to second, they won 6-0 against Bexhill Utd with Lucy Rix (2), Beth Hull and Charlotte Bennett amongst the goals. Dartford Res complete the top three after an Aimee Ascott double and Chloe Brian gave them a 3-0 victory over Hastings Utd. Lauren Harris and Abbie Potter each netted twice along with Stephanie Adby as Herne Bay beat Montpelier Villa 5-2 and a solitary strike by Daisy Meehan earned Steyning Town Community their first win of the season against Welling Utd.  


North East League


South Shields produced the biggest winning margin on the opening day of the season, Sophie Greener, Rebecca Emery, Becki McMahon and Ebony Longstaff all finding the net as they beat Hull Utd 4-0. Bradford City’s quest to retain National League status quickly got off to a great start, winning 5-2 against Wakefield thanks to an Aaliyah Nolan hat-trick, Kanisha Underdown and Maria McKenna. Newly promoted Spennymoor Town meanwhile won 5-3 away to Hartlepool Utd with Katy Hemmingway on target twice along with Caitlin Bates, Alice Welch-Davison and Courtney Mole, whilst Michaela Sewell (2) and Chloe Mark gave Wallsend Boys Club a 3-1 victory over Redcar Town. Alnwick Town were 2-0 winners over Barnsley, Georgia Latto and Chloe Young scoring their goals, and Sunderland West End came away from Harrogate Town with a 2-1 victory thanks to Layla Huskisson and Siobhan Jones.


Christine Murray scored a hat-trick with doubles from Jessica Douglas and Charlotte Hoganson, and Mollie Smith was also on target as Gateshead FC Ladies defeated Chester-le-Street Utd 8-1 in the Northern Division. They head the opening day table, just ahead of Consett Ladies who were 7-1 winners over Hartlepool Pools Youth thanks to a five-goal haul from Stephanie Curry, as well as Emma Hewett and Charlotte Paddock. Wallsend BC Res meanwhile won 4-0 against Washington Women, Abbie Young netting twice with Kirsty Gillis and Catherine Shields adding the others. Newly promoted Sunderland U23 were 4-2 victors at Ponteland Utd, courtesy of a Mary Corbyn double, Milly Cairns and Emily Hutchinson, whilst Leonie Hutchinson, Daisy Swash and Harriet Dryden were the markswomen for Thornaby Ladies as they beat Blyth Town 3-1. Norton & Stockton Ancients Res came from a goal behind to Bishop Auckland at half time to get off the mark with a 2-1 victory.


York City Development got off to a flying start in their first match following promotion in the Southern Division, running out 7-1 winners over Harworth Colliery. Grace Sykes, Olivia Sellars and Ruby Watt all scored twice for York, with Elisabeth McLaughlin adding the others. The other newcomers, Chesterfield did not quite fare so well as they were beaten 6-0 by Altofts Ladies, Nicola Smith (2), Nadine Bates, Emily Scott, Emily Sharp and Natalie Riley giving their team a good start. Crystal Lisle hit a hat-trick, with Abby Watkinson (2) and Amy Pollock also on the scoresheet, as Millmoor Juniors Ladies defeated Farsley Celtic Juniors 6-3 and Lower Hopton edged out Ripon City by the odd goal in seven, Ruby Marlow and Mia Moorhouse each scoring twice. Lily Ashworth, Tamryn Dunlop and Jodie Langstaff accounted for the goals as York RI won 3-2 against Sheffield Utd Community Foundation whilst Brooke Chappell, Holly Mappin and Jade Richards were all on the mark for Handsworth as they shared a 3-3 draw with Ossett Utd, who netted through Jordane Allison, Debbie Hastings and Danielle Sidebottom.

 

North West League


Tranmere Rovers have gone three points clear at the top of the Premier Division after Katie Bowers-Folan and Lorna Stratton gave them a 2-1 victory over Bury FC Women. West Didsbury & Chorlton are up into second place following their 5-3 success away to Blackpool. Beth Wilson led the scoring with a hat-trick and Victoria Kerr weighed in with a double. The result takes them above Darwen FC Women, who were beaten 2-1 by Curzon Ashton, and Fleetwood Town Wrens who went down 3-1 to Cheadle Town Stingers, Imogen Porteous-Williams netting twice and Rachael Dunlop adding the other. Crewe Alexandra are in mid-table after winning for the first time, 3-1 against Salford City Lionesses.


The top two in Division One North continue to pull away from the others, with Preston North End holding on to the leadership after beating Morecambe 7-1. Alicia Scott hit a hat-trick for the leaders and there were braces from Samantha Ball and Madison Hadley. Mancunian Unity continue to keep pace with them by winning 3-1 against Accrington Stanley. There is now a six point gap to third placed Penrith AFC Ladies after they went down 3-2 to Radcliffe FC Women, whose scorers were Sophie Coates, Erin Whyte and Kimberley Tyson, whilst Bolton Wanderers defeated Workington Reds 3-0 thanks to Milla Hodson, Hannah Wilkinson and Molly Kay. First half goals from Robyn Wojnarowski and Colby Davidson gave Penwortham Town a 2-1 victory over Haslingden and Fleetwood Town Wrens Res beat Carlisle Utd 5-1, Emily McCarthy netting twice along with Chloe Carey-Parker, Ruby Farrell and Ellie Crompton.


FC St Helens have opened up a lead at the top of Division One South after scoring seven times without reply past Northwich Vixens. Ashley Beard led the scoring with a hat-trick, Brianna Riley contributed a double and there was one apiece from Laura Hart and Rachel Miranda. Wythenshawe Women have moved up to second as they edged out Chester FC Women by the odd goal in seven. Poulton Vics defeated third placed Runcorn Linnets 3-1 and have gone level on points with them, whilst Mossley Hill follow on after Millie Critchley and Olivia Ellinson netted doubles in their 4-2 victory over Ellesmere Port Town. Helen Dobson was another player to score twice as Warrington Wolves Foundation beat Altrincham 2-0 and Hindley Juniors Women were 7-1 winners against Litherland Remyca.

 

South West League


Frampton Rangers’ first match in the Premier Division turned out to be a very successful one and their 5-1 victory over Larkhall Athletic means they top the opening day table. Kelly Jones hit a hat-trick for Frampton whose other goals came from Rebecca Dando and Ruby Michael, with Erin Duffy netting the Larks’ consolation. Marine Academy Plymouth have also started well with Sam Drewery, Elizabeth Overton, Carmen Morison and Fedra Leal all scoring in their 4-2 win against AFC St Austell. Bristol Rovers narrowly missed out on the title last season and faced a tough start at Liskeard Athletic, but came through with a 3-2 victory thanks to goals from Abigail Hughes, Scarlett Mills and Abi Todd after the home side had led through a Gabi Alphous double. However the comeback of the day went to Sherborne Town who came from two goals behind to beat newly promoted Pucklechurch Sports 3-2. Olivia Watts scored twice and Kelly Snook the other to turn the match in Sherborne’s favour after Lilly Farr and Adele Hooper had put Pucklechurch in front. Holly Miller and Alex Husson were on the scoresheet as Bishop's Lydeard won 2-1 against Forest Green Rovers, whose consolation goal came from Nalani Hunt.


Lucy Atkinson has been a prolific scorer for AEK Boco over the last few seasons and she has hit the ground running this time around, scoring a hat-trick as they defeated Downend Flyers 9-2. Aimee Clark, Charlotte Daly, Jessica Stirling, Jessica Titcomb and Alex Titcomb joined her on the scoresheet along with an own goal, whilst Beth Pitman netted twice in reply. Mangotsfield Utd’s first match under their new name ended in a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Weston-super-Mare, for whom Ellie Burrows, Yasmin Moorehead and Emily Petteford all scored. Jess Dobbins, Shannon Francis, Amelia Burnham and Weronika Jozefowska were all on target for SGS Olveston Utd in their 4-2 win away to Bristol Rovers Development, who responded through Megan Bloomer and Anya Shipp. Alex Gwyther and Martha Slocombe scored for Paulton Rovers as they battled out a 2-2 draw with Bitton Ladies, whose replies came from Georgia James and Melanee Mills, whilst St Vallier and Gloucester City also shared four goals, Chloe Golding’s double for City cancelling out goals for Vallier by Natascha Bevan and Ilarna Nche.


Poole Town’s aim of recapturing a place in the Premier Division was given a great boost in their opening match, scoring eight times without reply past Ridgeway Ladies. Emma King hit a hat-trick and Georgia Kemp weighed in with a brace, with Beth Anderson, Lauren Kelly and Chloe McCombe completing the tally. Emma Sykes netted twice and Libby Davies the other as Royal Wootton Bassett Town also started well, winning 3-0 away to Purton FC Women. Bath City Women and Weymouth meanwhile shared a 3-3 draw with Emilia Bellotti scoring twice for Bath – including an equaliser deep into injury time – and Libby Goater adding the other, whilst Weymouth’s markswomen were Ellia McCann, Zara Hunt and Charlotte Wilson.


Feniton had a good campaign last time around and are already looking strong again, opening up with a 10-1 victory against Middlezoy Rovers. Sian Aslett and Megan Williams both hat-tricks and the others came from Natalie Ebdon-Matthews, Kate Finch, Caragh O’Brien and Mikaela Winkler, Krystal Edwards netting Middlezoy’s consolation. Ilminster Town meanwhile came away from Bideford with a 6-3 success, Ellie Orritt on target twice along with Holly Griffiths, Harriet Kelly, Maisie Parker and an own goal, with Hannah Edmondson, Aimee Kingdon and Maizie Mock replying. Eleanor Sparkes scored the only goal of the game as Helston Athletic made a winning return, beating Saltash Utd 1-0.


Southern Region League


Bournemouth Sports took the opening day honours in the Premier Division by scoring six times without reply past Warminster Town. Sarah Plummer and Becky Miles each netted twice and the others came from Jasmine Hughes and Liane Folkenstern. Philippa Holden (2), Dominique Carrington and Amelia Kimble were on the scoresheet as last season’s runners-up Ascot Utd won 4-1 against Wycombe Wanderers, who replied through Amy Leach. Sheree Bell-Jack, Amber O’Reilly and Katie Shorter scored the goals as Eastleigh beat Oxford City 3-1 and Badshot Lea were 2-0 winners over Winchester City Flyers, Lucy Cook and Marianne O’Byrne ensuring a quartet of home wins on the day.


In Division One North, Rebecca Stopforth hit a hat-trick along with Henna Hussain (2), Rachel Harnby, Ellie Ludgate-Williams and Evie Matthews as Penn & Tyler’s Green won 8-2 away to Beaconsfield Town. Another high scoring game saw Milton Utd beat Caversham Utd 7-3, Mollie Dyer and April England each netting twice with Holly Porter, Abbie Thorne and Kira Ranxha also on the scoresheet. Mimi Hodges scored a hat-trick and others came from Ruby Herring and Ellie Owen for Abingdon Utd Development in their 5-2 victory over Wycombe Wanderers U23 and Long Crendon defeated Chesham Utd Development 5-3 thanks to Michelle Bailey (2), Eleanor Lovelock (2) and an own goal. The five games in the division produced a total of 39 goals, including a 3-1 win for Kidlington Youth over Eversley & California.


AFC Stoneham opened up their season in Division One South with an eight-goal victory over Rushmoor Community, Chloe Melton netting four times alongside Sophie Lee (2), Chloe Marshall and an own goal. Havant & Waterlooville meanwhile came away from Bournemouth Sports Res with a 3-0 win, given to them by a Megan Gratton double and Rosie Willis. Selsey Development defeated Abbey Rangers 4-2 and AFC Portchester were 3-1 winners over Woking thanks to an Eilidh Currie hat-trick. Fleet Town and Eastleigh Res meanwhile battled out a goalless draw.  


West Midlands League


Kidderminster Harriers scored eight times without reply against Crusaders to open up the new season, Macy Fox leading the scoring with a four-goal haul and others came from Lara Stevens (2), Imogen Butler and Molly Maguire. Catherine Harris meanwhile netted twice along with Eliza Hickey and Natasha Lawrence as Solihull Sporting defeated Coventry Sphinx 4-0. Hajrah Mahmood (2) and Millie Drinkhall scored the goals as Burton Albion edged out Shifnal Town 3-2 and Shrewsbury Town also won 3-2 against Knowle, courtesy of strikes from Katie Doster, Kim Bebbington and Zoe Child. Chloe Hood and Shelbie Cartwright were on target for Lichfield City as they battled out a 2-2 draw with Coundon Court, who responded with a Jessica Lundie double, while Worcester City and Lye Town finished level at 1-1 with goals from Emma Congrave and Darcie Hancocks respectively.


Newcastle Town made an impact in their first match in Division One North, beating Lichfield City Res 9-2. Hannah Jamieson was on target four times, Tegan Ansell and Casey Beamon each contributed a brace and Katie Greenwood was also on target. Olivia Mountford (2), Macy Isherwood (2) and Elissa Dockerty accounted for the goals as Port Vale defeated Leek Town Res 5-0. AFC Telford Utd have started well, with a 5-1 victory over Coventrians thanks to Abi Beady (2), Romillie Evans, Jemma Smith and Abby White, whilst Walsall FC Women opened up by beating Darlaston Town 3-0 at the Bescot Stadium on Saturday. Aaliyah Shearer, Mia Fellows and Chloe Astell all netted for Walsall. Sandra Dziedzic, Bonnie Moore, Hollie Taylor and Sophie Woodhead were the scorers for Coventry City as they edged out Tamworth by the odd goal in seven.


Naomi Morgan bagged a hat-trick, with Emily Jensen and Molly Noble also on the scoresheet, for Leamington Lions who were 5-0 winners away to Droitwich Spa in Division One South. Alvechurch won 3-1 against Redditch Utd and Bewdley Town beat Sedgley & Gornal Utd 4-3 thanks to Chelsea Mudge, Kirsty Roberts, Lauren Thompson and Beth Taylor. Ava Barnes and Marianna Redmond-Lyon were on target for Long Itchington in their 2-1 victory over Hereford Pegasus whilst the match between Worcester City Development and Redditch Borough finished goalless.
