Liverpool complete signing of Sara Agrez

Liverpool FC Women have reached an agreement to sign defender Sara Agrez upon the expiry of her contract with Cologne.  

The Slovenia international centre back will officially join the Reds on July 1 after a two-and-a-half-year spell with the Frauen-Bundesliga club.

Agrez, 25, made her senior international debut in June 2019 and has won 57 caps to date. The left sided defender has plied her trade in Germany since May 2019, when she joined Turbine Potsdam from ZNK Mura in her homeland. Agrez signed for Wolfsburg two years later and then arrived at Cologne in January 2024.

She started 23 of Cologne’s 26 league games in 2025-26.
