Genero Adran Leagues

Wrexham will face Cardiff City in the Genero Adran Trophy Final at Bangor City Stadium on Sunday 22 February 2026, with kick-off at 5.00pm.

The match promises to be a thrilling encounter between two sides locked in a tight battle at the top of the Genero Adran Premier table. Tickets are now on sale.

Wrexham reached the final for the first time in their history with a dominant 6-0 victory over Briton Ferry Llansawel in Sunday's semi final at The Rock. Faye Knox was the star of the show, netting a brilliant hat-trick for the Red Dragons. The former Wales U19 international opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a stunning curled free kick into the top corner. Knox doubled her tally nine minutes into the second half, rounding goalkeeper Courtney Young before slotting home calmly.

Captain Jodie Bartle made it 3-0 moments later, bundling the ball over the line after Ferry failed to clear Hannah Snape’s corner. Knox completed her hat-trick in the 65th minute with another clinical finish after skipping past the defence.

Rosie Hughes then added a brace to complete the rout, though she will miss the final after receiving a straight red card late on for a dangerous challenge on Begw Gruffydd.

Cardiff City booked their place in the final with a clinical 3-0 win away at holders The New Saints in Oswestry. Madison Lloyd, recalled from her loan at Pontypridd United earlier this month, opened the scoring after just 14 minutes, bundling home from Ffion Price’s corner. The Bluebirds doubled their lead on 27 minutes through Mackenzie Olden, who tapped in from Fiona Barry’s square ball following a swift attacking move.

Lloyd sealed her brace midway through the second half, latching onto Olden’s threaded pass and firing into the bottom corner to give Iain Darbyshire’s side a comfortable victory. Goalkeeper Ceryn Chamberlain produced several key saves to secure a clean sheet as Cardiff avenged their quarter final defeat to the Saints from last season.

Genero Adran North

Tania Wylde produced a sensational four-goal performance to fire Llanfair United to a commanding 5-1 victory over Flint Town United at Mount Field, propelling them up to second in the Genero Adran North table.

Flint took an early lead inside two minutes through forward Rosie Hughes, who netted her third goal in as many games. However, Llanfair responded strongly, with Wylde equalising shortly before half time. The hosts took complete control after the restart as Sophie Cook added a second, before Wylde completed her hat-trick in the 67th minute and rounded off her haul with a late fourth to seal the emphatic win.

Llanfair now sit six points behind leaders Connah’s Quay Nomads after five games played, while Flint drop to third as their winless streak extends to four matches across all competitions.

In another North clash, Bangor and Llandudno shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Treborth. Kelsey Davies gave Llandudno the lead in the 38th minute with her first league goal of the season, after Meg Robinson had made several key saves to keep Bangor at bay early on.

Bangor fought back in the second half, with star teenager Menna Evans firing home the equaliser to rescue a valuable point. Both sides remain on five points, two clear of bottom placed Berriew.

Genero Adran South

Carmarthen Town moved level on points with leaders Cardiff Met Women thanks to a 2-0 win away at Taffs Well. The home side suffered a nightmare start when goalkeeper Chrissy Kedley was shown a straight red card after just ten minutes and Carmarthen capitalised late in the first half with two quickfire goals: Aimee Heath latched onto Casi Jones’ through ball to slot home, before Summer Evans added a clinical finish from the edge of the area for her third goal of the campaign. A goalless second half followed, with Carmarthen securing their first clean sheet away from home this season.

Pure Swansea also join the top two on 15 points following a 3-1 victory over Penybont at the DragonBet Stadium. Teenager Annabel Stokes opened the scoring seven minutes before half time – her third consecutive away league goal – before captain Charley Haynes and Kalena Walters-Wright struck within 11 minutes of each other in the second half.

Penybont pulled one back late through substitute Carys Minton, but it proved only a consolation as Pure Swansea claimed their fifth league win of the season.

At the foot of the table, Cascade YC earned their first victory of the campaign with a 2-0 win over Llanelli Town at the CCB Centre. Ellis Lunn and Anny Lewis both scored in the first half to beat former Cascade goalkeeper Bethan Ellis.

Cascade remain bottom but are now just one point behind Llanelli with a game in hand.
