Northern Premier Division
Wolverhampton Wanderers ran out 7-1 winners away to Hull City and this has taken them to the top of the table, with a lead of three points. Previous leaders Burnley FC Women had postponed their match against West Bromwich Albion as a mark of respect for the passing of Matt Beard, meaning Wolves took over with doubles from Beth Merrick and Amy Sims, and others from Louanne Worsey, Amber Hughes and Abi Loydon, whilst Hull's consolation came from Jessica Tugby-Andrew.
Rugby Borough meanwhile scored five times without reply away to Halifax FC Women and are up into second place on goal difference. Yasmin Mosby and Amelia Hazard ensured that Rugby were two ahead at half time, before adding further goals through Lily Greenslade, Mai Moncaster and Malika Apindia Gille.
Liverpool Feds continued their upsurge in form with a 4-1 victory over Loughborough Lightning, which lifts them into the top four. Seren Carrington, Mia Parry, Chloe Fisher and Meg Boydell were all on target for the Feds, with Doris Greenwood replying.
Stoke City returned to form when they defeated Middlesbrough 2-0. The first half was goalless, but a double after the break from Shannon Stamps earned Stoke their second league win of the season.
Derby County are off the bottom of the table as they recorded their second win in a row, a 1-0 success away to Sporting Khalsa. Substitute Georgia Stevens was the Ewes' heroine as she scored the only goal, just before the hour mark to settle a closely fought game.
Southern Premier Division
AFC Bournemouth kept hold of the leadership on goal difference when they won 2-0 against Cheltenham Town. Gemma McGuinness opened the scoring for the Cherries, early in the second half, with Georgia Wilson wrapping up the win ten minutes from time.
Bournemouth continue to lead the way from Watford who kept pace with them by netting five times against Billericay Town. Isabella Fisher put them in front with six minutes on the clock and Freda Ayisi duly scored a hat-trick, before Anna Filbey rounded off the scoring.
Third placed Plymouth Argyle undertook a long trip to Lewes but it proved to be a successful one as they returned with a 4-0 victory under their belts. An own goal put Argyle in front just before the quarter hour and Ellie Noble made it two ahead of half time. After the break, Plymouth went on to seal an impressive result with late strikes from Tianna Teisar and Phoebie Poole.
Real Bedford made it three wins in a row and this has taken them up into fourth place. Issy Bryant netted twice, with Sofia Stovold and Abbie Bensted adding the others, as Real ran out 4-1 winners over Oxford Utd, whose consolation strike came from Jenna Legg.
Gwalia Utd were 1-0 victors away to AFC Wimbledon and join Real Bedford on nine points. Beth McGowan scored the only goal of the game after fifteen minutes, to help the South Wales side continue their good start.
Exeter City have been a little inconsistent during the opening weeks of the season but they are up into the top half following their 6-0 victory against Hashtag Utd. Sarah Stacey and Madeleine Durrant put them two ahead inside the opening nine minutes and Sophie Gillies bagged a second half hat-trick, before Ellie Sara rounded off the scoring late on.
Division One North
Leaders Cheadle Town Stingers notched up their fifth win in a row, 2-0 away to Chester-le-Street Town to preserve their lead of three points. Goals in the last twenty minutes from Neve Birtwistle and Imogen Porteous-Williams ensured that Cheadle kept up their perfect start.
Huddersfield Town ran out 5-0 winners over Norton & Stockton Ancients to remain at the head of the chasing teams. Louise Biggins netted a goal in each half and she was joined on the scoresheet by Rhema Lord-Mears, Laura Elford and Hannah Burgess.
Stockport County defeated Doncaster Rovers Belles 6-1 to stay level on points with second placed Huddersfield. Levi Rathburn, Emily Bradshaw and Abigail Podmore gave County a three-goal lead going in the break. Rathburn completed her double in the second half, either side of a goal from Kenedy Owen and Natalie Watson, whilst Jodie Gregory replied for the Belles.
Wythenshawe Ladies are still doing well in their first season in the league and they are up into the top four following their 2-1 win against Durham Cestria. Alicia Johnson and Kirsty Chambers put Wythenshawe two up at half time, before Anya Prested responded for the Wildcats after the interval.
Leeds Utd also moved up the table after scoring seven times without reply past Blackburn Rovers. Chloe Dixon bagged a brace for Leeds and the others came from Drew Greene, Amy Woodruff, Darcie Greene, Alice Hughes and Monique Watson.
Chorley stay in the top half of the table after their match with York City finished goalless. The point was enough though to lift York out of the bottom two places.
Division One Midlands
Kier Perkins and Freya Andersen each netted twice along with Courtney Clarke and Lauren Wilshaw as Peterborough Utd ran out 6-2 winners over Worcester City to stay on top of the table on goal difference.
Boldmere St Michaels also notched up fifth win in five matches to keep pace with the Posh Women, Annie Ackroyd scoring the only goal of the game as they defeated Notts County 1-0.
Barnsley Women remain on the heels of the top two with a 4-0 victory over Kidderminster Harriers. Jemima Jarvis gave Barnsley a first half lead and after the break, Jodie Michalska bagged a brace and Ocean Rolandsen joined them on the scoresheet.
Leafield Athletic got back to winning ways by beating Sutton Coldfield Town 4-0, which means that they stay three points off the pace. After a goalless first half, Gemma Fraser hit a hat-trick after the interval and Evie Gallop weighed in with the other goal.
The spoils were shared at Northampton Town where the home side battled out a 2-2 draw with Sheffield FC. Jemima Footitt and Amber Dredge were on target for Northampton, while Sheffield netted through Imogen Fowler and Lexie Butterworth.
The two teams at the foot of the table at the start of the day came face to face in an important clash and it was Stourbridge who were to pick up three valuable points with a 1-0 win over Lincoln Utd. Darcy Cartwright settled matters in favour of the Glassgirls when she scored the only goal of the game, midway through the second half.
Division One South East
Fulham successfully negotiated their next difficult test to record a fifth win in a row, 2-1 away to Chatham Town. Kayleigh Stead and Stella Gandee-Morgan were both on target for the Cottagers, with Lucy Jones replying.
Fulham have actually increased their lead to three points after Norwich City replaced London Bees in second place by winning their meeting 2-1 at The Hive. Freya Symonds bagged both goals for the Canaries to give them a fourth victory in five games, whilst the previously unbeaten Bees netted a consolation through Brionne Fowle.
Cambridge Utd meanwhile maintained their fine start to the new campaign with a 3-1 success away to Chesham Utd, which lifts them into the top three. Brooklyn Cheal-Ferris gave them a first half lead which was cancelled out on the stroke of half time by Jenny Nagle, before the U's clinched the points courtesy of second half strikes from Kim Farrow and Jade Bell.
Queen's Park Rangers remain in the top half of the table but lost ground when they went down 2-1 to Dulwich Hamlet. Rhea Gill and Neve Mayes scored the goals to hand Hamlet their second win of the season, whilst Rangers' reply came from Grace Stanley.
Actonians moved themselves up the table, thanks to a 2-1 victory away to AFC Sudbury. After a goalless first half, late strikes from Jasmine Williamson and Andrearna Dunbar-Bonnie gave the As three important points, despite Sudbury responding through Leonnie Bezant.
There was also late goal action as Luton Town returned from Milton Keynes Dons with a 2-0 victory under their belts. An own goal put Luton ahead with seven minutes remaining and they went on to seal the points with a second from Natasha Fensome.
Division One South West
Swindon Town power on at the top of table and notched up their fifth straight win with a 4-1 success away to Keynsham Town. Annabelle Colston put the Wiltshire side ahead in the opening minute of the match and after Helena Costa levelled the scores midway through the second half, Colston restored Swindon's advantage and they went on to seal the win with further goals from Lacy-Jai Liggett and Isabelle Cook.
Moneyfields also won 4-1 on their travels and this was enough to see them return into second place on goal difference. Shannon Albuery netted twice along with Megan Fox and Beth Burgess as the Moneys recorded the victory at Worthing, who netted a late consolation through Lauren Amarena.
Bristol Rovers meanwhile kept a fifth clean sheet in a row and stay two points off the pace as they won 1-0 against Abingdon Utd. Rovers needed to be patient though as they did not make the breakthrough until twelve minutes from time, when Laura Barrett scored the only goal of the game.
Bridgwater Utd consolidated themselves in fourth, thanks to a 3-0 win against Portishead Town. Keeley Banfield, Ellie-Mae Bell and Aimee Kingdon all found the net to see their team extend their unbeaten league run to four matches.
Ascot Utd are adjusting well to life in a higher league and have entered the top five following a second successive win, 3-2 at Maidenhead Utd. Beth Lloyd, Mia Delaney and Jacey Lane all got on the scoresheet to help Ascot take the points against their Berkshire rivals, who had led 2-1 at the break through Ines Cipriano and Katie Akerman.
Bournemouth Sports edged out Marine Academy Plymouth 2-1 and this leaves them in the top half. Sam Drewery did give Marine a great start by giving them an early lead but Emily Phillips quickly equalised and Emma Whall scored what proved to be the winner in the opening minute of the second half.
Reserve Section Leagues round-up...
The Determining Round of the Reserve League Cup took priority on Sunday and Northern Division leaders Stoke City went through, Layla Kennerley (2), Ella Starling and Laila Tunstall seeing them to a 4-3 win over Middlesbrough. Ipswich Town kept up their winning start to the season by beating Queen's Park Rangers 2-1 with goals from Lottie Barker and Erin Williams. AFC Bournemouth made it a good day for the divisional leaders, Elin Starck bagging a four-goal haul and Ruby May Warder adding the other as they won 5-2 at Bridgwater Utd.
Poppy Johnston-Smith and Isabel Mawdy scored the goals as Rugby Borough won 2-0 away to Cheltenham Town and Leeds Utd were 1-0 victors over Doncaster Rovers Belles thanks to Saraiah Swallow. Two ties went all the way to penalties, Huddersfield Town edging past Notts County 3-2 from the spot, after Jude Mellor had scored an injury time equaliser to Gemma Cornes' earlier goal. Aime Chiddle and Molly Waddingham netted for Moneyfields against Maidenhead Utd, who went on to win on penalties after Alina Kerl and Chloe Matmuja had earned them a 2-2 draw. An Almee Cawood goal, ten minutes from time, gave Billericay Town a 1-0 success against Swindon Town and Hull City ran out 3-0 winners over York City courtesy of Evie-Mae Wilkinson (2) and Sophie Wilson.
