Northern Premier Division
There has been a change of leadership in the Northern Premier Division after a fourth straight win from Huddersfield Town saw them take over at the top of the table. However it needed a late fightback to keep the run going as Hull City led for most of the game through an early strike from Ellie Tanser, but goals in the last eleven minutes from Louise Biggins and Laura Elford helped Huddersfield to pick up three hard earned points.
Rugby Borough had started the day as leaders but went down to their first defeat of the season, beaten 1-0 by West Bromwich Albion who move up to fifth place as a result. Naomi Sharp scored the only goal of the game in injury time for Albion, who are now only four points off the pace following their third win on the trot.
Stoke City remain in third but were pegged back to a 1-1 draw by Norwich City, who drew for the third time in five matches. Stoke did take the lead shortly before half time through Shannon Stamps but after the break, the Canaries hit back for a share of the spoils thanks to an equaliser from Holly Kennard.
Liverpool Feds meanwhile edged out Middlesbrough 1-0 to keep themselves in fourth place in the table. The match was settled for the Feds by a solitary strike just after the hour mark from Jessica Brady.
Loughborough Lightning stay in the top half after battling out a 1-1 draw with Boldmere St Michaels. Both goals came late in the match, Macy Winters putting Loughborough ahead with fifteen minutes remaining, but the Mikes fought back with a leveller by Olivia Ramon.
Derby County meanwhile raced to a 3-0 success away to Peterborough Utd. Eleanor Ashton struck once again to give Derby the lead and Dolcie O'Connor quickly added the second, before O'Connor completed her double midway through the second half to put the seal on a fine result for the Ewes.
Southern Premier Division
Oxford Utd made it a perfect five wins out of five on Sunday and were 5-0 victors once again, this time with Plymouth Argyle as their victims. Sophie Quirk put them ahead after only four minutes for the first of what would be her hat-trick, the other two coming in quick succession after the break. By then, Holly Manders had already doubled the U's advantage and Ruby Sealey rounded off the scoring with the final goal late on.
With Fulham not playing, this means that Oxford now have a lead of two points at the top from AFC Bournemouth, who lifted themselves into second place on the back of a 1-0 success away to Exeter City. Isabel Watts gave the Cherries three crucial points when she scored the game's only goal, midway through the second half.
Portsmouth continue to gather pace and are up into fourth following a third win on the bounce, 2-0 away to Real Bedford. After a goalless first half, Sofia Mallon opened the scoring for Pompey just after the hour mark and Zoe Barratt wrapped up the win with the second goal late on.
Lewes played host to Cheltenham Town with both teams looking to notch up their first league victory of the season and it was the Rookettes who were able to do so, running out 3-0 winners. Una Lue gave them the lead on the half hour and Scarlett Kagalwala quickly added a second, before Ella Stephens grabbed the final goal with fifteen minutes remaining.
It was also a first win in the league for Hashtag Utd as they defeated Swindon Town 4-2. The Tags got off to an excellent start with Elicia Mulvaney netting a first half double and Natasha Snelling ensuring they were three goals ahead at the break. Emma Samways increased their lead eight minutes after the restart, before Swindon hit back with a brace from Tori St Clair.
Division One North
Leeds Utd stay two points clear at the top of the table following their 2-0 success away to Bradford City, which stretches their winning run to five games. Chloe Dixon opened the scoring for them on the quarter hour and Alice Hughes wrapped up the win with the second after the break.
AFC Fylde made a quick return to winning ways by defeating Chester-le-Street Town 5-2, to make sure of staying on Leeds' heels. Nicola James and Ciara Boylan gave the Coasters a two-goal lead at the break and they went on to add further goals in the second half through Kenzie Bentley, Molly Kelly and Imogen Borrowdale, with the Cestrians' replies coming from Jenny Ashton and Katie Ellison.
Third placed Halifax FC Women made it four victories on the trot with a 3-2 success away to Durham Cestria. Halifax took an early lead through Aleesha Collins which was cancelled out by Francesca Ward, and they went back in front just after the hour mark with a goal from Megan Sheehan. Lleucu Mathias levelled matters once amore but Halifax were not to be denied and Faran Crompton netted a decisive third with four minutes left.
Stockport County meanwhile notched up an important 3-2 success against Chorley, who once again suffered a narrow defeat. Yasmin Ahmed and Ellie Fletcher put County two ahead at half time, Panther Espinoza reducing the arrears five minutes after the restart. Meg Boydell netted for Stockport on the hour and this was to give them the win, despite Espinoza scoring a second for the Magpies late on.
York City meanwhile lifted themselves into a mid-table position as they ran out 5-0 winners over Thornaby Women. The MinsterBelles were two goals ahead at the interval thanks to Grace Foyer and Rosie Bell, and they went on to seal the win with further goals in the last fifteen minutes, Hope Knight netting a brace and Katie Varley also getting on the scoresheet.
It was also a second league victory of the season for Norton & Stockton Ancients, who beat Blackburn Rovers 3-0. Sacha Millward netted a goal in each half for Norton, before the prolific Bianca Owens rounded off the scoring.
Division One Midlands
The top two in the table at the start of play came face to face and produced a thrilling match, with Wythenshawe and leaders Leafield Athletic battling out a 4-4 draw. Rachael Dunlop hit a first half hat-trick for Wythenshawe and Anya McCready added another shortly after half time to leave their team 4-1 up at that stage, however Leafield, who had replied through Lucy Pugh, staged a fightback and after Gemma Fraser and Abi Cowie brought them back into the game, an equaliser deep into injury time by Kiera Bell salvaged a point for Leafield, which had looked unlikely after an hour.
Barnsley Women therefore lift themselves into second place after chalking up a fourth successive win, 3-0 against Sutton Coldfield Town. A first half double from Aaliyah Nolan put Barnsley in control of matters and Lucy Cook sealed the win with the third goal late on.
Sporting Khalsa are just outside of the top three following their 1-1 draw against Kidderminster Harriers. Khalsa took the lead through Eva Cassidy shortly before half time, with Amelia Hiscox earning Harriers a share of the spoils on the other side of the interval.
Worcester City came away from Northampton Town with a 2-1 win under their belts, which keeps them in fifth place. Evie Billingsley gave Worcester a lead shortly before half time, which was cancelled out midway through the second half by Angel Dade. With three minutes left on the clock, Annabel Sime grabbed the deciding goal to stretch Worcester's winning run to three matches.
Notts County claimed a third win in four matches when beating Sheffield FC 4-2. Sheffield led at the break through a goal from Eve Shepherd but Emily Brett and Lily Skeldon scored to put County in front for the first time. Molly-Mae Crump levelled matters once again shortly afterwards, before Shoniqua Barnes and Iris Lacey both found the net to turn the match firmly in County's direction.
It was a momentous day for Lye Town as they recorded their first ever National League victory, 2-0 away to Chesterfield. Goals either side of half time from Natasha Baptiste ended a run of three straight defeats and moved Lye into a position just below mid-table.
Division One South East
London Bees made a swift return to the top of the table after they won 2-0 away to Dulwich Hamlet. The first half was goalless but Hayley Hoare broke the deadlock seven minutes after the restart, and Grace Breen wrapped up the win with the second.
The Bees head the table by a single point from Queen's Park Rangers who notched up a third win in a row with an impressive 3-0 success at previously unbeaten Chatham Town. All three goals came in a twelve minute period during the second half, Lauren Amerena putting Rangers ahead before they went on to add further goals through Nicole Barrett and Ellie Searle.
Previous leaders Actonians Ladies are back in third place but hold on to their unbeaten record following a 1-1 draw with Dartford. Shauni Griffiths put the Darts in front after four minutes and they remained ahead until late on, when their hopes of a first win were dashed as Wiktoria Franc grabbed an equaliser for Actonians.
Milton Keynes Dons ascended into the top half of the table when they won 1-0 away to Cambridge Utd. Raissa Taborda gave the Dons a second win of the season when she scored the only goal in the 37th minute.
Luton Town meanwhile won for the second week in a row, with a 1-0 success at Stevenage Women. Chloe Logie secured the points for the Hatters when she scored with eighteen minutes remaining.
Saltdean Utd returned from Billericay Town with a 2-0 win under their belts, to move themselves up to mid-table. Mary Smith gave Saltdean the lead as half time approached, before Danielle Lane wrapped up the win with the second goal late on.
Division One South West
Bridgwater Utd are the new leaders following their 2-0 victory against Abingdon Utd. The visitors went into the game having won three out of four matches but Ellie-Mae Bell opened the scoring for the Somerset side on the stroke of half time, and Abbey Hateley wrapped up the win midway through the second half.
Moneyfields are back in second place after going down to their first defeat of the season, beaten 3-2 by Bristol Rovers. Libby Davies sent Rovers into half time with a one-goal lead which was cancelled out two minutes after the restart by Amber Howden. Lashai McNama restored Rovers' advantage on the hour, with the Moneys hitting back again shortly afterwards through Libby Hester. Rovers then took the lead for a third time with a goal from Gipsy Viveash and this time held on to keep up their improving form and put a halt to the Moneys' early season form.
Gwalia Utd got back to winning ways with a 2-0 success away to Wycombe Wanderers, which lifts them above their opponents and into third place. First half goals from Molly Kehoe and Manon Pearce gave Gwalia a season which keeps them in touch with the two leaders.
Torquay Utd's hopes of a third straight victory were dashed by a second half fightback as they were beaten 3-2 by Maidenhead Utd. Torquay raced into a two-goal lead at half time with Sarah Stacey netting twice for the second week in a row, Maidenhead pulled one back after the break through Mae Goulden and in the dying minutes, Izzy Stockton levelled the scores and Goulden netted a second to hand the Berkshire side a dramatic win.
Keynsham Town were able to put a run of four straight defeats behind them to notch up their first win of the season, 4-0 against Ascot Utd. Sachiko Kaneko-Grun put them ahead in the third minute and the striker went on to net a second just ahead of half time, before Keynsham were able to crown the win with further strikes late on from Mia Mugford and Freya Mist.
It was also a first victory of the campaign for Marine Academy Plymouth, however they needed to withstand a second half fightback by Bournemouth Sports in their 3-2 victory. Marine sailed into a three-goal lead during the first half thanks to Sam Drewery, Ellie Bishop and Kate Bowden, then after break, Sports replied with goals from Freya Jennings and Molly Gladwell but it was not quite enough to earn their side a point as Marine held on.
