FA Women’s National League

Northern Premier Division

It's as you were at the top of the table with Burnley FC Women still striding out in front, maintaining their one point advantage by winning 3-1 at Middlesbrough. Alethea Paul, Charley Docherty and Charlie Chadwick scored the goals to hand the Clarets a tenth league win of the season, whilst 'Boro's consolation came from Abby Holmes.

Wolverhampton Wanderers stay just behind in second, they ran out 5-1 winners over Liverpool Feds. Anna Morphet netted a goal in each half and she was joined on the scoresheet by Georgia Marshall, Charlotte Greengrass and Amber Hughes, with Jessica Brady replying.

Third placed Rugby Borough got back to winning ways with a 1-0 success away to Derby County. Sofia Mallon scored the only goal of the game on the hour mark to leave Rugby five points behind second placed Wolves and nine ahead of the teams immediately below them.

Stoke City continued their climb up the table and moved into fourth when they won 2-0 at Sporting Khalsa. It wasn't until the later stages of the game when the home side's resistance was broken as Stoke went in front through Evie Priestley with eighteen minutes remaining, and Shannon Stamps put the seal on the win with the second.

The result takes Stoke two points ahead of West Bromwich Albion, who move above Middlesbrough into fifth despite being held to a 0-0 draw by Loughborough Lightning, who battled out their second goalless match in successive weeks.

The Halifax FC Women revival continues with a second win in a row, this time beating Hull City 2-0. Eleanor Ashton opened the scoring on the half hour and Anna Phillips wrapped up the win with seven minutes remaining, to help take their side out of the bottom three.

Southern Premier Division

AFC Bournemouth made a swift return to the top of the table when they ran out 8-0 winners over Billericay Town. Sophie Quirk scored a hat-trick and the others came from Georgia Wilson, Molly Barron-Clark, Jessica Hennessy, Kelci Bowers and Emilia Newton.

The Cherries were further boosted by the news that previous leaders Watford went down to their first defeat of the season, 3-2 at home to Lewes. Olivia Carpenter and Leah Lane put the Rookettes two goals ahead at half time and after Isabella Fisher and Poppy Wilson brought Watford back on level terms after the break, Lewes were to have the final say and Rebekah Trewhitt scored the winner with five minutes remaining.

Bournemouth therefore head Watford on goal difference with Plymouth Argyle only two points off the pace after they won 2-1 at Hashtag Utd. Eleanor Noble gave Argyle a first half lead which was cancelled out by Honoe Norton, before Noble netted a decisive second for Plymouth on the hour.

Real Bedford follow on after beating AFC Wimbledon 5-1. Issy Bryant scored a hat-trick for Real with Melis Mehmet and Chloe Logie adding the others, whilst the Dons' consolation came from Alisha Buckingham.

Cheltenham Town continued their upsurge in form by winning 4-0 away to Exeter City, a result which keeps them in fifth place. Una Lue netted a first half brace and went on to complete her hat-trick after the break, with Clarabella Hall also getting on the scoresheet.

Oxford Utd also made it two victories in a row when they defeated Gwalia Utd 4-1. Emma Thompson netted twice with Holly Manders and Grace Palmer adding the others, with Casi Gregson replying.

Division One North

Things remain tight at the top with Huddersfield Town holding on to the leadership on goal difference, but received a scare in their 3-2 victory over Blackburn Rovers. Felicity Jones and Kate Mallin twice put Town in front, with Ashley Tiripke and Clara Butler equalising on each occasion and this looked like giving Blackburn their first point of the season until injury time, when Jones scored her second to keep Huddersfield in pole position.

Wythenshawe are back up to second place after running out 3-0 away to Chorley. The first half was goalless but Wythenshawe took the lead through Amanda Goodwin just before the hour mark and Divine Obida sealed the points with two further strikes.

Leeds Utd complete the top three as they also won 3-2 at Norton & Stockton Ancients. Izzy Elliott and Kathryn Smith both scored for Leeds along with an own goal, whilst Norton replied through Bianca Owens and Milly Cairns.

The spoils were shared as Stockport County and Chester-le-Street Town battled out a 1-1 draw. Jenny Ashton gave the Cestrians a first half lead, with County hitting back after the break and Jess Battle levelling matters two minutes after the restart.

Durham Cestria meanwhile put a gap of four points between themselves and Doncaster Rovers Belles after winning their meeting 4-0. Anna Soulsby scored twice along with Ellen-Marie Atkinson and Grace Collinson as the Wildcats notched up a second successive victory.

Division One Midlands

A 4-0 victory over Kidderminster Harriers ensured that Peterborough Utd remain one point ahead at the top. The first half was goalless but after the break, Kier Perkins gave the Posh Women the lead and they went on to add further goals through Courtney Clarke, Jessica Rousseau and Kira Rai.

Boldmere St Michaels stay on Peterborough's heels in second place as they also won 4-0 against Stourbridge. Laura Cooper was on target twice and Olivia Mitcham added another, along with an own goal.

Barnsley Women re-entered the top three on the back of a 2-1 victory away to Notts County, Helen Lynskey scoring both of their goals.

Sheffield FC were a third team on the day to record a 4-0 win, this time at the expense of Sutton Coldfield Town. Halima Essa gave Sheffield a first half lead and they went on to add further goals after the break through Lucy Trail, Maya Williams and Lexie Butterworth.

Division One South East

With Fulham not having a game, Norwich City were handed an opportunity to replace them at the top of the table if they avoided defeat against Dulwich Hamlet and they accepted, with a 1-0 victory. Grace Rigler scored the only goal of the game for a tenth win in eleven games and a lead of two points, having played one game more.

Third placed London Bees got back to winning ways with a 2-0 success against Queen's Park Rangers, which cements them in third place. Both goals came in a five minute spell during the second half, Shamoy Campbell putting the Bees in front and Millie Isherwood wrapping up the result with the second a few minutes later.

Chatham Town have climbed above QPR and into fourth on the back of a 4-0 victory away to Chesham Utd. Lottie Sharp gave the Chats the lead just ahead of half time and Amelia Woodgate added a second after the break, before Jessica King put the seal on the win with a late double.

Actonians Ladies and Cambridge Utd continue to occupy the mid-table positions after their meeting finished in a 2-2 draw. This did not tell the whole story though as the U's raced into a two-goal lead inside the opening half hour, thanks to Zoe Wood and Samantha Edgar, before Katherine Turner reduced the arrears and Kayra Karakus earned the A's a share of the spoils by equalising with nine minutes left.

The points were also shared between AFC Sudbury and Milton Keynes Dons in their important clash which ended level at 1-1. Madeleine Pollard put MK in front during the first half, with Leonnie Bezant levelling after the break to leave the Dons just outside of the bottom two, three points ahead of their opponents.

Division One South West

Leaders Swindon Town made it a perfect ten with a 4-2 victory away to Portishead Town. Lacy-Jai Liggett gave them a first half lead and Annabelle Colston netted twice ahead of the break. Sarah King made it four early in the second half but Portishead did not give up with Emily Lindsey and Mia Blazey - the latter a superb 25-yard strike - reducing the arrears late on.

Moneyfields made a swift return to winning ways and Marine Academy Plymouth caught the backlash from their defeat seven days earlier. Shannon Albuery hit a hat-trick, with Megan Fox and Daisy Beard adding the others, as the Moneys ran out 5-0 winners to resume their pursuit of Swindon.

Bristol Rovers put an end to their worrying run of four defeats in five games by notching up a 4-1 victory over Maidenhead Utd. Abbey Hateley opened the scoring after seven minutes, before Megan Jarvis quickly added a second and she went on to hit a hat-trick, with Maidenhead netting a late consolation through Chloe Chapman.

Bridgwater Utd lost ground on the top three as they crashed to a 3-0 defeat away to Bournemouth Sports. Liane Folkenstern put Sports in front during first half injury time and two second half own goals put the seal on a result which takes them back into mid-table.

Abingdon Utd's good run of form continued with a 2-0 victory at Ascot Utd, which takes them level on points with fourth placed Bridgwater. Holly Sellwood opened the scoring for Abingdon in the sixth minute and substitute Lauren May secured another victory for her side with the second, five minutes from time.

Worthing put an end to their run of eight matches without a win and boosted their hopes of climbing out of the bottom two when they defeated Keynsham Town 4-2. Lauren Amerena spearheaded the win for the Rebels by bagging a hat-trick and Jodie Freeman-Woods weighed in with the other goal, whilst both of Keynsham's replies came from Georgia Galley.

In the other game, Cerys Baker, Grace Hindley and an own goal ensured that AFC Fylde were narrow 3-2 victors over Notts County.

Billericay Town have opened up a six point lead at the top of the South East Division after Nell Doe (2), Sienna Winslow and Abbi Smith all scored in their 4-3 win against second placed Ipswich Town. Queen's Park Rangers meanwhile won for the first time, coming from behind at the break to beat Rugby Borough 4-2 with goals from Deja Bass, Molly Carter, Aya El Bergui and Abigail Bird.

One match was played in the South West Division, third placed Keynsham Town winning 2-1 against Moneyfields thanks to first half goals from Vicky Vipond and Robyn Prince.
