Northern Premier Division
Wolverhampton Wanderers moved to within a single point of leaders Burnley FC Women after they won 3-0 away to Middlesbrough. An own goal gave Wolves a nineteenth minute lead and Louanne Worsey quickly added a second, before Tammi George rounded off the scoring late on.
Stoke City kept their hopes of a top three place alive with a 3-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion. Evie Priestley gave Stoke a first half lead and after Delphi Cole made it two just before the hour, Ruby Millington wrapped up the win with the third goal.
A four-goal first half blitz took Liverpool Feds on to a 5-0 win against Sporting Khalsa. Chantelle Thompson opened the scoring on fifteen minutes, with Aleesha Collins, Chloe Fisher and Jessica Brady adding further goals ahead of the break. Thompson put the seal on a result which takes her side back into the top half of the table when she scored her second goal in injury time.
Southern Premier Division
AFC Bournemouth caught up ground on an inactive top two when they ran out 4-1 winners away to Real Bedford. Abby Jones and Sophie Quirk put the Cherries two goals ahead and after Breon Grant reduced the arrears for the home side, Georgia Wilson and an own goal sealed an important victory for Bournemouth who, although they remain in third, are only two points off the pace.
Oxford Utd hold on to fourth place as they came from behind to win 2-1 at Exeter City. After a goalless first half, Amber Pollock opened the scoring for Exeter within four minutes of the restart but Lucy Trinder levelled matters midway through the second half and Riva Casley completed the turnaround with the winning goal, ten minutes from time.
Lewes made it five wins in six league matches when they defeated Hashtag Utd 3-1. Chelsea Ferguson, Ruby Seaby and Layla Banaras all scored a goals apiece for the Rookettes.
AFC Wimbledon meanwhile lifted themselves out of the bottom two with a vital 4-0 success against Billericay Town. The Dons made a flying start to the match with three goals inside the opening eight minutes, Ashlee Hinks netting a double either side of an Alisha Buckingham goal, and Rosie Russell rounded off the scoring with the fourth in first half injury time.
Division One North
Huddersfield Town maintained their two point lead at the top of the table with a 1-0 victory over Durham Cestria. The visitors went into the game on the back of a great run of form which had taken them to the fringes of the promotion race but a second half goal from Louise Biggins gave Town a crucial result.
Leeds Utd are back up into second place following a 3-2 win against Chester-le-Street Town. Brittany Sanderson gave Leeds an early advantage which was cancelled out by Georgia Gibson but Alice Hughes restored their lead on the half hour. Ellie White added a third, midway through the second half, and this gave them three important points despite Jenny Ashton pulling one back for the Cestrians late on.
Chorley and Norton & Stockton Ancients remain three points apart in mid-table after their meeting finished in a 2-2 draw. Nicola Worthington netted for Chorley, with Louise Atkinson on target for Norton, and after Taylor Gunn looked to have given the Magpies a win when she put them in front late on, they were pegged back to a sixth draw of the season when Victoria Burton grabbed an equaliser for Norton deep into injury time.
Division One Midlands
Only one match went ahead in this division on Sunday but sadly, it did not come to a conclusion on the day. Sutton Coldfield Town were leading Northampton Town 1-0 with a goal from Chloe Bickley in the latter stages of the game when the game was abandoned due to a medical emergency involving Northampton striker Lacey Snape. Thankfully, she was able to return home later that evening, meanwhile the league has ordered that the match will be replayed in full at a later date.
Division One South East
With Norwich City not having a game, Fulham took the opportunity to make a swift return to the top of the table when they won 1-0 away to Luton Town. Leila Lister scored the only goal of the match, midway through the second half, to give a big boost to the Cottagers' title challenge.
In the other game, Chatham Town made up ground on the top three with a 5-0 victory against AFC Sudbury. Karesha Iton opened the scoring on the half hour and Amy Russ made it two, early in the second half, before Lottie Sharp netted a quickfire double and Jessica King rounded off the scoring.
Division One South West
A strong second half performance powered leaders Moneyfields to a 5-0 victory away to Abingdon Utd and preserves their single point lead. Brooke Garcia was introduced as a half time substitute and made a quick impact, scoring twice within seven minutes of coming on. Shannon Albuery further increased their lead and Ali Hall put the seal on the win with a late double.
Swindon Town remain close at hand in second place, with a game in hand, and they netted ten times without reply past Marine Academy Plymouth. Libby Davies kept up her recent good form in front of goal by scoring a hat-trick and Annabelle Colston weighed in with a brace, while there was one apice from Isabelle Cook, Sky Bedwell, Elise Clayton, Tiana Russell-Cartwright and Tori St Clair.
Reserve Section round-up...
Northern Division leaders Stoke City were beaten for only the second time this season, going down 3-0 to Huddersfield Town. Daisy Botham (2), Maia Schonfelder and Ruby Webster were all on target for AFC Fylde in their 4-4 draw with Derby County, who replied through a Krystal Trinh double, Ebony Stubbs and Olivia Tomkins. Grace Jones netted twice along with Aurelia Burdett and Chloe Newens as Notts County ran out 4-1 winners over Hull City.
Ipswich Town are the new leaders of the Premier Division, following their 7-1 victory against Swindon Town. Dulcie King led the scoring with a five-goal haul and there was one apiece from Phoebe Love and Katie O'Shea. They replace Watford who went down to a 2-0 defeat against AFC Bournemouth, Hannah-Marie Clayton and Elin Starck scoring for the Cherries.
Tate Bullen netted twice along with Nina Scullion and Poppy Johnston-Smith as Rugby Borough defeated Bridgwater Utd 4-0 to go four points clear at the top of the Championship Division. Moneyfields meanwhile shared a 1-1 draw with Cheltenham Town, goals coming from Grace Jarrett and Charlie Donovan respectively.
