Alisha Lehmann completes Leicester City transfer

Speaking to Foxes Hub, Alisha said: “It feels amazing and I’m so happy to be here. It feels like a homecoming, coming back to England, and I’m really happy.
“Leicester is an amazing club. I’ve seen the training ground and, of course, the stadium. They want to push women’s football forward."
Born in Tägertschi, Switzerland, Alisha began her senior career with Swiss Women’s Super League side BSC Young Boys Frauen in 2016, spending three seasons in the Swiss top flight before securing a move to the WSL with West Ham United.
In her debut season in English football, Alisha played a key role in helping West Ham to a historic Adobe Women’s FA Cup Final and would go on to cement her place as a regular for the Irons over the following two seasons.

Alisha’s next chapter saw her return to Europe with Juventus in 2024, where she was part of a squad that secured a Serie A title and a Coppa Italia double, before spending a further season in Italy with FC Como.
On the international stage, Alisha has earned 64 caps for Switzerland since making her senior debut 2017, aged just 17.
With over 250 senior appearances to her name, Alisha bolsters the club’s attacking options for the second half of the WSL season and has now joined up with her new teammates at Belvoir Drive.
