The League Plate Final turned out to be a much closer affair as C & K Basildon and Hannakins could not be separated after 120 minutes of football. London & South East League
The Division One (London) title race has gone down to the very last day of the season and the fate of the top three has yet to be decided. MSA Ladies won 8-0 away to Enfield Town Res but will have to wait and see if they are to take the runners-up position. Hemel Hempstead Town meanwhile came away from Knaphill Wanderers with a 5-2 victory and needed to beat Luton Town Res in their final match on Thursday in order to pip Kikk FC to the title, whereas a point would see them finish second.
North East League
Huddersfield Town picked up the first of a potential trophy double when they defeated Whitley Bay 2-0 in the League Cup Final at Norton & Stockton Ancients. The first half ended goalless but Huddersfield broke the deadlock on the hour mark when Emily Heckler finished following a solo run. Aleathia Smith sealed victory and broke Whitley's resistance shortly afterwards when she headed in the second goal from a Kate Mallin corner.
The Premier Division title race is entering a decisive few days as Huddersfield take on Sheffield Utd Community on Thursday night, then they face leaders Barnsley on Sunday and the destiny of the Championship could well be known following those matches. Peterlee Town's chances of finishing fourth took a knock as they went down to 4-1 defeat away to Hull City. St Francis 2000 are certain to end up in the bottom two despite picking up a useful point from a 1-1 draw with mid-table Guiseley.

7-1 away to Kidsgrove. Wyrley Ladies continue to head the race for second place after they won 2-1 at Prees Raiders whilst Bedworth Utd, the only team who can still catch them, kept their hopes alive by beating Coseley Town 3-0.
