East Midlands League
Mansfield Town followed their League Cup Final success seven days earlier by capturing the runners-up spot in the Premier Division. The Stags scored fifteen times without reply against Corby S & L to give them the victory they needed to take second place. The other match, which completes the league season, was of significance at the other end of the table and it saw Peterborough Azure climb out of the bottom two at the expense of Heather St Johns by defeating them 5-1.
Eastern Region League
Brentwood Town took the Premier Division title from the decider with Bedford Ladies, thanks to a 2-1 victory (see match report). Hethersett Athletic's hopes of third place took a knock as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Kettering Town, for whom Hayley Griffiths scored, whilst Barking went down to a 4-1 defeat away to Woodbridge Town. Justine Peacock, Jemma Yarnton, Kristie Turner and Michelle Allum were all on target for Woodbridge. Stevenage Borough warmed up for their forthcoming League Cup Final by beating Chelmsford City 3-0, Josie North, Justine Emmins and Nicole Perschsky netted their goals.
In Division One North, Haverhill Rovers rounded off the season with a 3-1 victory over Huntingdon Town thanks to a Laura McAllister double and Kerry Elmer.
Title winners C & K Basildon's hopes of finishing their Division One South campaign with an unbeaten record were brought to an end after they were beaten 3-1 in the final match by runners-up Billericay Town. Lisa Silverton, Nicola Dunsdon and Vanessa Wilson were on the scoresheet for Billericay who take on Ipswich Wanderers in a promotion play-off match this Sunday.
London & South East League
Westfield can still finish as runners-up in the Premier Division in their first season after promotion and they kept those hopes alive by running out 5-0 winners over Wandgas. They currently lie in fourth place, one ahead of Panthers who defeated Crawley Wasps 2-1 in the other game.
North East League
Huddersfield Town are still closing in on leaders Barnsley and they completed a double over Hull City in successive weeks, beating them 3-1 to narrow the gap to three points. Sheffield Utd Community meanwhile sealed at least a top three place when they defeated York City 6-2, Deryn Ahmed netting four times along with Tania Marsden and Laura Naylor. Peterlee Town are finishing the season well and their 12-0 win away to St Francis 2000 takes them into fourth, just in front of Hessle Town who edged out Whitley Bay by the odd goal in five.
The final match of the season was played in the Northern Division, fourth placed Redcar Athletic returning home from Teesside Sport Ladies with a 3-1 victory.
Beverley Town rounded off their season with a 6-0 victory over Rothwell Town, meaning that the third placed team finished just three points behind title winners Sheffield Utd Junior Blades. Wakefield Res consolidated themselves in mid-table by beating Goole Town 6-1.
North West League
After finishing as runners-up in each of the last two seasons, Fletcher Moss Rangers have gone one better this season after a 2-2 draw with Bolton Wanderers gave them the point they needed in order to clinch the Championship. Chorley did all they could to try and overhaul them but their 3-0 victory over Chester City was not enough and they have to settle for second place. Crewe Alexandra won 1-0 at Burnley Girls & Ladies to climb above them into third place and Denton Town ran out 4-0 winners away to Wigan Ladies.
Blackpool Wren Rovers have been made to wait in their quest to secure the runners-up spot in Division One North after they went down to a 2-1 defeat away to Bolton Lads & Girls. Penrith AFC stormed to a 12-2 win at Leigh RMI and still have a mathematical chance of taking second place. Carlisle edged out Warrington Town 2-1 whilst Springfields (Preston) climbed off the foot of the table and guaranteed they will finish outside of the bottom two, after they picked up maximum points from a double header with Whitehaven.
AFC Liverpool made sure that they rounded off their season in Division One South on a winning note, thanks to a 4-1 victory over Macclesfield Town.
South West League
Larkhall Athletic have gone three points clear at the top of the Premier Division with a 3-0 victory over Marine Academy (Plymouth), effectively ending the Devon side's hopes of winning the title. Emily Harrington, Sarah Gregory and Amy Scrivens scored the goals for the Larks who must now wait and see if they have done enough to finish as Champions. Keynsham Town Development meanwhile defeated Weymouth 6-0 and need to pick up four points from their final two games in order to overhaul Larkhall. Imogen Mills bagged a hat-trick with Luciana Silva (2) and Tanja Andjelkovic adding the others to keep Keynsham on course.
Eastern Division One Champions Salisbury City recorded their eighteenth victory in nineteen matches, this time beating fifth placed Downend Flyers 2-0 thanks to goals from Nicky Barnes and Charlotte Eastman.
Southern Region League
A good second half of the season has taken Oxford Utd to the brink of a top three finish. On Sunday they won 2-1 away to Maidenhead Utd, a result which takes them into third place, but they can still be overtaken if Shanklin win their final game.
On Tuesday night, Andover New Street carried off the Division One title as they defeated Southampton Women, who have to settle for runners-up, 2-0 in their title decider.
West Midlands League
Hereford Pegasus still need to win two of their last three matches in order to avoid finishing in the bottom two of the Premier Division but they did their hopes no harm as they scored seven without reply against Kidderminster Harriers. Kingshurst Sporting meanwhile leapfrogged Wednesfield Town into a mid-table position by beating them 3-0.
Stafford Town finally secured the Division One North title, thanks to a 3-0 victory away to Coseley Town. Wyrley Ladies remain the favourites to take the runners-up position despite being held to a 3-3 draw by main rivals Bedworth Utd. The other match between Bridgnorth Spartans and FC Reedswood finished goalless.
Leamington Lions march on in Division One South, the title winners extending their lead to nine points by scoring five without reply at Fairfield Villa. The result also gave Walsall the chance of climbing into third place, which they duly accepted via a 4-0 success away to Birmingham Athletic. Redditch Utd beat Southam Utd 1-0 to go mid-table, whilst Knowle and Ferndale shared four goals.
