Millwall Lionesses have been relegated from the National Division after results did not go their way on Sunday.
Millwall went into their final game of the season against Reading FC Women needing to win to stand any chance of climbing out of the relegation zone but Reading, who are still in the running for the runners-up spot, took the lead midway through the second half through Nikki Watts.
Francesca Kirby added a second for the Berkshire side early in the second half and Watts sealed Millwall's fate, as well as lifting her side into second place, by completing her double and a 3-0 victory.
It was a much better day for Barnet as they lifted themselves out of the bottom two with a 1-0 win against newly crowned Champions Sunderland. The only goal of the game came just before the hour mark, Vicky Boardman netting for the third time in two games.
Watford are the team which slips into the bottom two, on goal difference behind Barnet and Blackburn Rovers, following their goalless draw with Leeds Utd who stay in fourth place.
