Scotland beaten by France

Scotland went down to a 4-1 defeat at the hands of France in their UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship second round qualifying group match in Freienbach.
Clarisse Le Bihan put the French ahead in the third minute and captain Claire Lavogez doubled their lead just before the break. Zoe Ness gave Scotland renewed hope on the hour mark when she reduced the arrears but Lavogez netted her second four minutes later and Le Bihan rounded off the scoring in injury time.
Scotland play their second group match against Wales on Monday.
Scotland Under-17: Hannah Reid, Stephanie Knox (sub Abbi Grant 71mins), Aimee Ross, Kelly Clark, Siobhan Hunter, Claire Emslie, Chloe Arthur, Mairead Fulton (sub Heather Richards 52mins), Zoe Ness, Caroline Weir, Fiona Brown (sub Kirsty Smith 77mins). Subs not used: Megan Cunningham, Kirsten McGuire, Kathryn Pender, Gillian Sloey.
