Cardiff beat leaders to go third
 Women's Football News 24 Mar 2011
Cardiff City lifted themselves into third place into Southern Division after they defeated leaders Keynsham Town 3-2 on Wednesday night.
The South Wales side raced into a three-goal lead inside the opening half hour, Amie Lea putting them in front before they added further goals through Natasha Harding and Lisa Bird.
After the break, Keynsham came back at Cardiff and reduced the arrears with a rare goal from full back Tracey Rouemaine. Ashley Reinecke then pulled a further goal back to give the Somerset side hope but Cardiff held on for a valuable victory.
Keynsham are still one point clear at the top but have now played a game more than second placed West Ham, whilst Cardiff's sixth win in eight games means they are now four points off the pace, with a game in hand.
