TNS Ladies are out of the bottom two after they completed a double over Copsewood (Coventry) in successive weeks. Chloe Matt netted twice and she was joined on the scoresheet by Emily Ridge.
* On Wednesday night, Sophie Walker and Lauren Whiteman scored the goals as Wolverhampton Wanderers defeated Leafield Athletic 2-0 to reach the semi finals of the League Cup, where they will play Sporting Club Albion.
South East Combination
Tottenham Hotspur have taken a firm grip on the title race after they defeated Norwich City 3-0 to replace them as leaders. Bianca Baptiste, Rosie Webb and Emma Kayser were all on target for Spurs.
Cambridge Women and Ipswich Town continue to occupy the mid-table positions as the sides battled out a 2-2 draw. Sophie Thompson and Semara Nche netted for Cambridge, with Ipswich replying through a Vicki Stephens double.
Honours were also even as Old Actonians and Ebbsfleet Utd shared four goals, earning each side a useful point. Carla Williams and Chelsea Berlin scored the goals for Old Actonians.
