Sheffield Wednesday claimed their second successive Premier League scalp in the F.A.Women's Cup, winning 3-1 at Rochdale to book their place in the last sixteen.
Hollie Barker, Beth Gingell and Laura Windle scored the goals to see the Northern Combination side through to a potential tie against a WSL side.
Charlton Athletic also caused a surprise as they knocked out Reading FC Women on penalties following a 2-2 draw. Jenny Newman and Francesca Ali had sent the Addicks into a two-goal lead, before Mikaela Howell and Stacey Wiggins levelled matters for Reading (see match report).
Millwall Lionesses recorded one of their best results of the season, a 3-0 victory away to Blackburn Rovers. Kate Longhurst netted either side of half time to send Millwall on their way and Emma Beckett wrapped up the win with the third goal.
Barnet made sure of keeping up their fine Cup record this season but were pushed all the way in their 1-0 success at Leeds City Vixens. Barnet had the better of matters in the first half but the home side pushed forward after the break. The winning goal came via a Barnet counter attack in the 70th minute, Stacey Sowden scoring with a shot from an acute angle.
Enfield Town are through to the Fifth Round for the first time in their history following their 4-2 victory over Mossley Hill in the battle between two Combination sides. Leanne Mabey and Sara Sinclair put Enfield two ahead, before goals either side of half time from Sophie Perry and Steph Lockhart put the Merseysiders back on level terms. Sheree Oliver put Enfield back in front and Sinclair completed her double to clinch the win for the South East Combination side.
The other three ties were postponed and will be played next Sunday.
