Vixens' confidence high
 Women's Football News 25 Feb 2011
Leeds City Vixens will be seeking a second consecutive Cup victory within the space of a week when they face Barnet in the Fourth Round of the F.A.Women's Cup on Sunday.
After a 5-1 victory over Castleford White Rose in the West Riding County Cup quarter finals, they will welcome back some players to face their National Division opponents, who were beaten semi finalists last season and are through to the Premier League Cup Final.
Club captain Michelle Walsh, fresh from scoring the goal of the game against Castleford, says that she and all the team are relishing the challenge of Barnet. "I'm feeling excited and confident that the squad we have can go and reach the next round," she insists.
"We know it will be a tough game but if we all play as well as we know we can, with a bit of luck, we can cause an upset!"
Vixens chairman Martin Cockerill is positive as well, as they will welcome back a number of important players from injury. "We are optimistic because we have home advantage," he says. "Barnet are only in the league above but are at the bottom.
"We have key players coming back from injury, our midfield engine Hannah Sprackley and Ruth Cockerill will be back. Confidence is high."
