Barnet swept into the Premier League Cup semi finals by running out 5-0 winners away to Cardiff City.
Stacey Sowden gave Barnet the lead in the 19th minute and Jade Dempster added a second. Holly Sandow put the Bees further ahead and Sowden completed her double to send the National Division side into the interval with a four-goal lead.
Cardiff did not give up and continued to fight but Barnet rounded off the victory in the dying minutes when Katie O'Leary found the net.
In the National Division, Reading FC Women's unbeaten run of five games came to an end as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Leeds Utd.
A win would have taken the Berkshire side to within one point of leaders Sunderland but Leeds struck two decisive blows just before half time, Holly Sharp giving them the lead and Leah Galton grabbing a second.
Mikaela Howell renewed hopes for Reading with ten minutes remaining as she pulled a goal back but Leeds held out to record their first league win since the opening day of the season.
