London & South East League
One match did manage to beat the freeze on Sunday, in the Premier Division where Panthers came away from Wandgas with a 3-1 victory, Kirsty O'Sullivan scoring twice with Amanda O'Neill adding the other.
The result takes Panthers into fourth place but they still trail runaway leaders Denham Utd by fifteen points.
South West League
The only action in the league took place on the South Coast in Eastern Division One. Poole Town lifted themselves into a mid-table position via a 2-1 win against high riding Bishop's Lydeard, Charlie Lanaham and Sam Gubb scoring their goals with Colette Phillips replying for the Somerset side.
Southern Region League
Shanklin ascended to the top of the Premier Division as the league saw a relative feast of football on the weekend with as many as three matches being played. The Isle of Wight side took over as leaders on the back of a 2-1 victory over third placed Bracknell Town. Michele Niven, Louisa Cambridge and Vicky Lewis netted the goals as University of Portsmouth climbed into fourth by beating Beaconsfield SYCOB 3-0.
There was also a change of leadership in Division One as Southampton Women moved into top spot on goal difference, thanks to a 2-0 local derby success away to Southampton Saints Res. Hannah Hewlett and Vicki Musselwhite were on target for Southampton.
