Only one of the four scheduled matches in the quarter finals of the FA of Wales Cup beat the weather on Sunday.
Welsh Premier Women's League title winners Swansea City successfully made it through to the semi final stage for the third year in a row, thanks to a 3-0 victory away to Wrexham.
The first half ended goalless but Swansea went ahead seven minutes after the restart with a goal from Laura-May Walkley.
Two further goals in a four-minute period clinched the victory for the Swans, firstly their lead was doubled by Natalie Ashford, who netted from the penalty spot, and Lindsay Morgan rounded off the win with the final goal.
The three remaining quarter final ties are scheduled to be played this coming Sunday. Former finalists Caernarfon Town play host to Llanidloes and Caerphilly Castle entertain Newcastle Emlyn in another all-WPWL tie.
The only surviving club from outside the WPWL, Cascade Youth, are at home in the remaining tie to Aberystwyth Town.
