Wrexham hold on to the leadership of the Northern Conference after they battled out a 0-0 draw with Llandudno Junction.
The result means they head the table by one point whilst both of newly promoted Llandudno's opening games have finished goalless.
Last season's beaten finalists Caernarfon Town have started off well this time around, returning home from Aberystwyth Town with a 2-1 victory. Louise Barlow gave Caernarfon a first half lead which was cancelled out after the break by Sam Lumb, before Katie Bowie struck the winning goal with ten minutes remaining.
In the Southern Conference, Swansea City maintained their good start to the new season with a 6-0 win against Trefelin, taking the reigning Champions three points clear at the top of the table.
UWIC meanwhile bounced back from their opening day reverse to inflict a 2-0 defeat on Newcastle Emlyn and leave themselves in third place.
The teams will be involved in FA of Wales Cup action this week and the Welsh Premier Women's League resumes with the third round of fixtures on Sunday 31st October.
