Glasgow City ran out 15-0 winners today against a new look Dundee United SC side at Dundee Downfield, to return themselves to the top of the Scottish Women's Premier League.
With Dundee United struggling badly for players and their management team having left the club, new manager/coach Chris Tawse has just come in and assembled a whole new squad who will need time to gel.
Ruesha Littlejohn and Suzanne Lappin each netted five times for City, Leanne Ross and Rachel Corsie weighed in with doubles and Megan Sneddon completed the scoring.
In the other SWPL game to be played, Forfar Farmington came away from Inverness with a 2-1 victory with goals from Nicky Davidson and Rebecca Dempster, Zoe Johnstone replying for the home side.
