England began their UEFA Under-19 Championship qualifying campaign in Moldova on Saturday with a comfortable win over their hosts.
Mo Marley's side began brightly and were a goal to the good inside the first quarter of an hour when Jordan Nobbs struck.
The Arsenal midfielder added a second on 32 minutes to give England breathing space at the break.
Nobbs' Gunners team mate Danielle Carter got on the scoresheet ten minutes into the second half and with time ticking away, Everton's Nikita Parris wrapped up the win scoring number four after coming off the bench.
In the group's other game, Finland beat Armenia 5-0 to take a goal-difference advantage at the top of the table. The Three Lions' next game is on Monday against Armenia at 2pm (BST).
England under-19: Tatiana Saunders, Lara Fay, Sam Chappell (sub Nikita Parris 57mins), Drew Spence (sub Rebecca Jane 80mins), Jemma Rose, Jordan Butler, Alex Greenwood, Jordan Nobbs, Danielle Carter (sub Meagan Doyle 74mins), Lucy Staniforth, Lauren Bruton. Subs not used: Hannah Short, Kirsty Linnett, Danielle Gibbons, Emily Heaslip.
