Glasgow City also remain on maximum points following a 4-2 win over Spartans. The Edinburgh side opened the scoring through Pauline Hamill but City soon replied via a Leanne Ross penalty after Lisa Evans was brought down. Rangers claimed their third victory in succession as a solitary goal from Cheryl Gallacher earned them a 1-0 victory away to Dundee Utd SC, who are still searching for their first points of the season.
Forfar Farmington are another team to have won three matches in a row, running out 7-1 winners at FC Kilmarnock. Rebecca Dempster helped herself to four goals, Caroline Heron added a double and Kelly Clark was also on target for Forfar, with Kirsty Munro netting Killie's consolation.
