England dig in for draw

England held on for a goalless draw with Italy in their UEFA Under-17 Championships qualifying group match after playing for almost an hour with ten players.
Lois Fidler's side must beat Holland in their final group game in order to qualify for this summer's Finals aftert the Dutch beat Serbia 1-0 in the other match.
The point was a good result for England in the end after Nikita Parris was shown a red card in the 27th minute for a foul. Italy struck the woodwork four times as England dug in to keep their qualification hopes alive.
England: Mary Earps, Lara Fay, Alex Greenwood, Nikita Parris, Hannah Short, Kirsty Linnett, Katie Wilkinson (sub Sherry McCue 80mins), Bianca Bragg, Danielle Carter, Freda Ayisi (sub Phoebe Richards 40mins), Lucy Gunton-Jones. Subs not used: Tatiana Saunders, Elizabeth Ince, Chloe Dale, Leigh-Anne Robe, Jade Bailey.
