Spartans are the opening day leaders following the first round of fixtures in the Scottish Women's Premier League's new summer season.
Scotland international Hayley Lauder was on target twice as the Edinburgh side ran out 6-0 winners over Inverness LFC. Diana Barry, Claire Crosbie, Pauline Hamill and Julie Melrose completed the scoring for Shelley Kerr's side.
Glasgow City began the defence of their title by beating Forfar Farmington 5-0. Lisa Evans opened the scoring for City on the half hour and Emma Fernon added the second early in the second half, before 17-year-old midfielder Emma Mitchell hit a hat-trick.
Last season's runners-up Celtic have also started well, scoring five without reply away to Dundee Utd SC. Suzanne Grant netted a double and there was one apiece from Joanne Love, Julie Ferguson and Karen McInally.
Hibernian made a winning start, 3-0 away to Boroughmuir Thistle. Joelle Murray bagged a double, with Hollie Thomson adding the other.
FC Kilmarnock gained revenge for their Premier League Cup defeat at the hands of Aberdeen seven days earlier by defeating them 2-0 in their league meeting, with Claire Docherty scoring both goals.
Rangers were narrow 2-1 victors over Hamilton Academicals, Jayne Sommerville and Lana McClelland were on the scoresheet for them with the Accies replying through Lyndsey Hogg.
