London Female Football Forum

London FA is pleased to announce that they will be running a one off Female Football Forum on Wednesday 14 October at Tottenham Hotspur FC, White Hart Lane.
The session starts at 5pm and will run for 45 minutes, and is FREE to attend. This event is part of the 2009 'Kick it Out Weeks of Action' which is held on an annual basis to help break down barriers that some groups may come up against in football.
The format of the forum will be a 45 minute event with a guest panel including Jacqui Oatley, BBC radio and Match of the Day commentator and Rachel Pavlou, National Women's & Girls' Football Development Manager, plus others - including an Female England International Player.
Natalie Huntley, Women's & Girls' FDO for North London, says: "It's great that we have managed to attract such high profile guests to be part of this forum.
"Following the success of the England Women's team at Euro 2009 it is a really exciting time to be involved in female football."
The Forum is open to anyone who is involved in the Female game and wishes to come along and listen to the guest speakers and then pose their questions to them.
Emma Barnes, Women's & Girls' FDO for South London, added: "This is a unique opportunity for people to come along and find out more from women who are involved in different aspects the game. So if you have a question you want to ask or simply want to find out more, then this is for you."
The Forum will also be running an earlier session for local schools who will be invited along to attend and find out more about women in football.
