Hamilton ascend to top
 Women's Football News 24 Aug 2009
Hamilton Academicals are the new leaders of the Scottish Women's Premier League following their 1-0 victory over Rangers.
They lead the table on goal difference from Hibernian who are the other team with two wins from two games after they defeated Aberdeen 5-1.
Glasgow City are the other team in the league to possess a 100% record but they now sit in fourth place after their match at Dundee Utd SC was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
Celtic are up into the top three, thanks to a narrow 1-0 success against Spartans. Suzanne Grant settled a close match with the only goal of the game, scored in the dying minutes.
Elsewhere, Boroughmuir Thistle beat FC Kilmarnock 3-0 to record their first victory of the season as did Forfar Farmington, 2-1 away to Inverness.
