Everton notched up their second win in a row in their UEFA Women's Champions League group by scoring seven without reply against Estonian side Levadia.
However the Toffees need nothing less than a victory in their final game against Team Strommen of Norway if they are to progress to the knockout stage.
Jill Scott bagged a hat-trick to set Everton on their way to a very comfortable win and Natasha Dowie weighed in with a double. Fara Williams and Emily Westwood added further goals to set their side up for the group decider on Tuesday.
Glasgow City got back to winning ways with a 2-0 success over Gintra Universitea. After a goalless first half, Ruesha Littlejohn gave City the lead and they wrapped up the victory with a second goal from Jane Ross.
Cardiff City meanwhile went down to a second defeat, beaten 3-0 by Portuguese outfit SV 1 Dezembro despite another battling display.
