Everton catch Arsenal
 Women's Football News 22 Apr 2009
Everton have gone level on points with league leaders Arsenal after running out 5-0 winners over Bristol Academy.
Fara Williams kept up her superb run of form by netting another hat-trick, taking her tally for seven goals in three matches. Jody Handley and Rachel Unitt added the others for Everton who need seven points from their last three matches to guarantee themselves the title.
Chelsea are finishing the season well and they notched up their fifth league victory in a row when beating Leeds Carnegie 3-1. In-form striker Sarah Kempson gave the Blues a tenth minute lead but Leeds were back on terms two minutes later with Ellen White netting against her old club. After the break, a Sophie Walton own goal put Chelsea back in front and Emma Whitter sewed up the points with the third goal.
WFC Fulham finished their season by recording their first win, 2-1 away to Blackburn Rovers. Gemma Fraser and Charmaine Benham were on target for Fulham, with Blackburn replying through Denise Campbell.
