Millwall Lionesses' Southern Division title winning celebrations were temporarily halted as they were beaten 3-2 by second placed Barnet.
Stacey Sowden netted a late winner for the Bees, who are now favourites to claim the runners-up spot, to add to earlier strikes from Holly Sandow and a Katie O'Leary penalty, while Millwall replied through Vicky Boardman and Laura Jeffrey.
Portsmouth have come steaming back to form and still harbour hopes of second place following their
5-0 victory over injury ravaged Keynsham Town. Cally Beaumont scored the first via a great long range shot and Lyndsey Crewe headed in the second in the 20th minute. Gemma Ritchie added the third on the half hour with a 25-yard effort and she completed her brace on the stroke of half time from a free kick. Substitute Becky Miles completed the win ten minutes after the restart from an acute angle.
Brighton & Hove Albion are safe from any more relegation worries after they defeated Truro City 4-2. Kim Whitcombe scored twice along with Kerry Dawkins and Kim Stenning but the result means that Truro - the first Cornish side to play in the Premier League - are condemned to the drop.
Crystal Palace need two points from their remaining five games to also reach safety, at the expense of Ipswich Town, after they claimed a fine 2-0 success away to Colchester Utd. Beth Curtis bagged both goals to give her side a crucial victory in their battle to stay up.
