Arsenal hit five at Fulham - 20 Mar 2009 - Women's Football NewsArsenal went six points clear at the top of the National Division by running out 5-0 winners against WFC Fulham.
In front of a large crowd at Burnham, the Gunners eased into a two-goal lead by the interval with goals from Welsh international duo Helen Lander and Jayne Ludlow.
Fulham battled hard to keep themselves in the game but any remaining hopes of a fightback were killed off as Arsenal produced a three-goal blitz towards the end of the match.
Rachel Yankey made it 3-0 with a neat left foot finish and Gemma Davison quickly added another with a fine individual goal. Suzanne Grant, who had only been on the pitch a few minutes as substitute, rounded off the scoring from the penalty spot after Davison had been fouled.
