Keynsham halve the deficit - 10 Mar 2009 - Women's Football NewsKeynsham Town moved to within three points of Southern Division leaders Charlton Athletic, thanks to a 2-1 victory away to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Frankie Stone and Hari Sabic netted the goals for Keynsham with the home side replying through Megan Priest.
West Ham Utd meanwhile notched up one of their biggest victories of the season, scoring five without reply away to Ipswich Town. Tracey Duxbury, Lindsey Morgan, Holly Griffin, Sam Pittuck and Julia Setford all netted a goal apiece for the Hammers who lifted themselves into third place.
Barnet suffered a setback to their title challenge as they were beaten 1-0 by in-form Colchester Utd. The only goal of the game came in the second half, via a powerful 20-yard strike from Maegen Doyle.
Millwall Lionesses moved into seventh place and are nine points off the pace, with three games in hand, following their 3-0 win at Portsmouth. Laura Jeffery fired Millwall into a lead which was doubled shortly before half time by Ann Marie Heatherson, with Emma Whitter wrapping up the win midway through the second half.
