Northern Combination
Leeds City Vixens opened up a lead of three points at the top after beating Morley Spurs 3-0 in the only match to be completed. Stacey Daniel, Megan Paul and Ruth Cockerill netted their goals.
Midland Combination
Derby County defeated Coventry City 3-2 to replace them at the top of the table but it was a bittersweet day for the Rams. Amy Pashley scored twice and Emily Jeffery the other, with Jade Formaston and Emily Hanson replying. However Pashley suffered a broken leg late on to take the gloss off a vital win for Derby.
Copsewood (Coventry) and Wolverhampton Wanderers did themselves no favours as they shared a 1-1 draw. Nicole Ledgister gave Wolves a first half lead which was cancelled out by Claire Stanley.
Leafield Athletic and West Bromwich Albion also finished level at 1-1, Leigh Dugmore netting for Leafield and Albion replying through Hayley Phillipowsky.
Radcliffe Olympic registered their best result of the season, a 5-1 victory over third placed TNS & Shrewsbury Town. Emma Clarke and Sarah Green each netted twice along with Jo Campbell.
South East Combination
Welwyn Garden City closed to within three points of the leadership as goals from Sophie Thompson and Samantha Gillings gave them a 2-0 win against Gillingham.
Lewes maintained their title challenge by scoring five without reply away to Tottenham Hotspur. Claire Trafford led the tally with a four-goal haul and Katie Hodges was also on target.
Nicola Bray had a good day, netting four times as Norwich City ran out 5-2 winners away to Northampton Town. Beth Bygrave added the fifth goal for the Canaries while the Cobblers replied through Stephanie Gale and Lizzie Clarke.
South West Combination
Queen's Park Rangers greatly boosted their title hopes with a hard earned 2-0 victory away to Forest Green Rovers. Susannah Abbott grabbed both goals for Rangers who extended their lead at the top to three points.
Yeovil Town received a setback as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Oxford City. Steph Mobbs had given Oxford the lead with Sarah Roxburgh netting a late equaliser for Yeovil.
Plymouth Argyle stepped up their challenge with a 6-1 success at Weston St Johns. Chloe Roberts, Sam Blake, Aoife Aherne, Jemma Rose, Katie Middleton and Emily Mousley all scored a goal apiece.
Team Bath got back to winning ways, scoring five without reply away to Reading Royals. Amanda Blakeley was on target twice along with Kirsty Richardson, Lucy Ambrozejczuk and Nicola Brown.
Chesham Utd consolidated themselves in mid-table following a 7-1 victory at AFC Bournemouth. Tash Sandalls scored a hat-trick and she was joined on the scoresheet by Anneka Nuttell, Amy Fisher, Justine Haw and an own goal.
