Everton back in second
 Women's Football News 23 Oct 2008
Everton moved into second place, three points behind leaders Arsenal, after they ran out 5-0 winners over Liverpool in their local derby match.
Fara Williams got the Toffees off to a flying start with two goals inside the opening eleven minutes and they doubled their advantage before half time with further strikes from Jill Scott and Michelle Evans, who scored a second goal after the break to round off the victory.
A late goal settled matters as Doncaster Rovers Belles consolidated themselves in fourth position with a 2-1 victory against Nottingham Forest, who remain at the bottom.
Liz Hanson gave the Belles a first half lead which was cancelled out early after the restart by Beth Bailey, but Hanson secured the points for Doncaster in the dying minutes with her eighth league goal of the season.
