After narrowly missing out on promotion from the London & South East League last season, Ebbsfleet Utd will have nothing less than the league title as a target in this campaign.
Ebbsfleet have been quietly preparing this summer and the team management of Shaun Edwards, coach Claire Shevlin and club co-ordinator Tina Martin have been focusing on preparing the existing squad, keeping most players together from last season - which is key to the club's future - as well as introducing much needed new players to the team.
Fleet are delighted to announce five new quality signings who will clearly add strength and depth to the team in Claire Williams, Jodie Nixon, Hannah Gilmour, Hayley Barton and Kaye Forster. Although this is a much needed boost, the team is still looking for a further two new signings in the centre of defence and striking positions, anyone interested please contact the club.
Last Sunday, it was a disappointing no start for Ebbsfleet as newly promoted Wandgas defaulted on the first match due to being unable to field a team, although it does mean three early points on the table, subject to management committee decision, which also matches the positive start that they were seeking.
