Crewe open against Albion
 Women's Football News 30 Jul 2008
Crewe Alexandra begin life back in the Midland Combination with a tough start to the season, a home match against West Bromwich Albion on 7 September.
The Cheshire side, relegated from the Premier League at the end of the last campaign, must play one of the teams fancied to be amongst the contenders this time around whilst last season's runners-up Coventry City are home to Leafield Athletic.
Wolverhampton Wanderers take on newly promoted Copsewood Coventry in arguably the most fascinating game of the day and the other newcomers, Radcliffe Olympic, are away to TNS Ladies.
Opening day fixtures (7 September):
Alfreton Town v Leicester City
Coventry City v Leafield Athletic
Crewe Alexandra v West Bromwich Albion
Loughborough Students v Derby County
TNS Ladies v Radcliffe Olympic
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Copsewood Coventry
