Wrexham beat Llandudno with late, late winner
Wrexham went through to the quarter finals of the Bute Energy Welsh Cup but only after a late goal ended the brave resistance of Llandudno Ladies.
Katie Sharp scored the only goal of the game in sixth minute of injury time to book Wrexham’s place in the last eight.
Holders Cardiff City Women swept through by scoring five times without reply past Swansea University. Hannah Power and Mackenzie Olden both scored in a three minute spell just ahead of half time and the other goals came in the opening ten minutes of the second half, Rhianne Oakley made it three before Hollie Smith and Olden, with her second, completed the tally.
