A bit of background

WSS LiveNews and TV Channels use Adindex's inovative advanced LiveNews system which was rushed out ahead of time to help improve the flow of news and information about Women's Football begining July 2002.

Individual Club TV Channels and a Website Index was enabled following the outstanding early success of the Latest News Channels which grew to over 200,000 news requests in the first season from Women's Football website users, news requests are now in the millions. Adindex will be enabling more exciting and inovative features in the future.

Adindex's LiveNews system is designed to fit any webpage and the new colour screens of advanced Mobile Phones which can browse the internet (WSS News currently requires DOM 2 standards and Media Player 7.1 or equivalent for Mpeg 1 and 4 video).

Your Own TV Channel

Using just about any video camera you can produce suitable quality video for your TV Channel. Video content could include best goals, match reports, interviews, news, you have been framed type clips etc. The aim is to help promote the quality, excitement and entertainment value of the women's game and the clubs.

With a personal computer, a link to your camera and some simple software you can easily edit and create video material and save it in a file. Just name the file correctly and upload the file to our video server website, our system does the rest automatically, there is no need to put any code in your webpage providing you have already included the news system (see further down how to include the news system). You can change and update your video file as often as you like.

Like the news channels your TV Channel will be available on all other websites with the news system so a wide audience get to see what you show, this will help attract and encourage public interest, match attendence, sponsors, adverisers and the media.

Take care not to change anything else or there may be problems.
