Cardiff Met Women were held to a 2-2 draw by Cardiff City Women in their local derby, denying them the chance to go level on points with Orchard Welsh Premier Women's League leaders Swansea City. After a goalless first half, Phoebie Poole fired City in front within three minutes of the restart but Met were quickly back on level terms, Grace Corne volleying home from a Robyn Pinder free kick. An own goal restored City's lead just after the hour and once again Met fought back, this time Ellie Preece equalising and earning her side a share of the spoils. Cyncoed Ladies and Abergavenny Women remain in fourth and third respectively after battling out an entertaining 1-1 draw. Ffion David gave Abergavenny the lead during the second half, with Cyncoed hitting back to earn themselves a point thanks to Monet Legall. Port Talbot Town meanwhile picked up their third win of the season, 1-0 away to Briton Ferry Llansawel. Jesci Hare settled matters for Port Talbot with the only goal of the game on the hour.
