Aberdeen preserved their seven point lead at the top of SWPL 2 with a 5-0 victory away to Kilmarnock. Carrie Doig gave the Dons a fourth minute lead, which they took into the break, before they sealed the win after the break with further goals from Jessica Broadrick, Francesca Ogilvie, Bayley Hutchison and Lauren Gordon. Dundee Utd continue to head the chasing teams following their 2-1 win over Boroughmuir Thistle. Steffi Simson put United in front early on, with Brogan Anderson levelling the scores just before half time. Robyn Smith settled matters with the winning goal, ten minutes from time. Hamilton Academical meanwhile won 4-2 at Stirling University to keep themselves in contention in third place. The Accies twice took the lead in the first half through Josephine Giard and Dionne Brown, with Shana MacPhail and Robin Gallacher equalising on each occasion. Giard restored Hamilton's lead late on from the penalty spot, before Chloe Muir made the game safe with the fourth goal. Partick Thistle returned to winning ways with a 4-1 success away to Glasgow Women. All of Thistle's goals came during the first half, Cheryl Hogg netting twice along with Clare Docherty and Taylor McGlashan, with Shivohn Honeyman grabbing a consolation for Glasgow after the break. St Johnstone completed a good week for themselves with a second successive 3-0 victory, this time against Queen's Park. Rachel Todd opened the scoring midway through the first half and she completed her double after the break, with Hannah Clark adding the final goal.
